A really superb location, decent but cheap breakfast, really clean and appears well managed. I would definitely recommend it to others if you are not hoping for anything too fancy. Bed was already made which is unusual for a hostel. -

Mo at the reception is a really nice guy. We arrived early and he still made sure our room was available for us ASAP. We had a double room which was very nice and clean. The hostel had a lift which was amazing after spending a lot of time lugging bags up many flights of stairs.

The staff was incrediblly nice, everyone was very helpful and polite. There are bus stops in front of the building, the Rotherhithe underground station less than 10 minutes away, it's located in a residential zone so it's a very quiet and safe place. I had previously read a review that said it was scary to walk from the underground station to the hostel, but let me tell you even though it's mostly a desserted area at the late hours of night, it's very safe, so don't worry about that. We had a fantastic week in St. Cristopher Village.
The hostel is in a very central position and it's very simple to move, furthermore the area is not completely dead at night, as it seems for the most of the City, and if your on holiday that matters.
We found out that the hostel was surprisingly clean, even though it's completely administered by

Helpful and friendly staff, clean room, very simple but good breakfast,
great atmosphere. 15 minutes on foot from Big Ben, Tower Bridge and The
Tower (however, we walk quite fast so it can take app. 20-25 min.).
Underground station "London Bridge" 3 minutes from the
hostel. Free internet access (well-working). £35 for one person for two
nights in the last weekend of April in London is in my opinion really
good price.

I stayed at RestUP and was really amaizing :
1. Great location so you are in picadilly circus or tower bridge within max 20 minutes
2. Very close to elephant and castle station within 5 minutes walk
3. Lovely geen yard when you walk through the gate so you can lay on the grass and enjoy the fresh air

Great place to be, well located and reasonably priced, bright and friendly hostel, situated at 5 minute walk from Elephant & Castle Underground station. Picadilly Circus and Tower Bridge at max 20 minutes away. Room, toilets and public areas are clean and well maintained. There's everything that one needs, internet, cash machine, food and drinks, laundry and even umbrellas and electricity adaptors provided at reception.
