A beautiful hotel with an imposing entrance. Our bedroom room was spacious and very attractive. The Midland is right in centre. Surrounded by cafes bars and theatres. The attitude & manner of all the staff I had contact with was first class. Initially I was given a smoking room, so I returned to reception to comment (not complain) & the member of staff immediately allocated me another room on a different floor. When we checked in we were giving a room on the 3rd floor when I went up I realised there was no bath in the room which for my son is essential so I asked at reception if we could be changed and they changed us to the 5th floor straight away which I was very grateful for. We only stayed for one night as we had tickets for the Peter Gabriel concert at the Phones4U Arena. The hotel was perfectly situated for both the arena and access to all the delights Manchester shopping and culture has to offer - and we would not have known there was a National Museum of Football in the country if we hadn't scanned the helpful literature placed in our room.
