  The staff at this hotel were fantastically polite, helpful and attentive - there was initially a problem with our room, and we were immediately upgraded by the superb reception manager into a suite that had access to a butler. The spa is excellent, the room comfortable.... From the moment we arrived, service was impeccable, the room was lovely (modern, clean and large) and our stay was delightful. We came for a relaxing time and we sure had one.

  We absolutely loved The Old Smithy Loft and will be recommending it to friends and anyone else we can. It was very comfortable, very clean and just so welcoming, we wished we had stayed longer. Its also a beautiful walk into Bath city centre and not too far either we did take a taxi to the Thermae Spa (which is also lovely and relaxing and definit... vad folk säger » ely to be recommended) but we walked in later. All in all The Old Smithy Loft is a great place to stay. - I liked everything about this location. The guest amenities were thoughtful, caring and very welcoming. The location is excellent, the flat was very warm and comfortable. The owners did everything in their power to leave us with nothing to want for. It was a home away from home and such a beautiful experience. I am grateful to the owners for making my stay a comfortable and memorable one. They truly care about their guests. I can't wait to go back.

  This hotel is Excellent! It had everything that you need and everything was in working order! Continental breakfast was good! The design of this hotel is just beautiful! We had a room on the top floor (no elevator) but the stairs weren't bad! We had a beautiful view from our room looking at the beautiful garden! They offered good suggestions for dinner and gave directions. The room was magnificent! Large and airy with a beautiful bathroom.   For our first visit to Bath, we decided to go for something special and chose Queen Charlottes Orangery! So glad we did as it was a wonderful place stay! Great location (only a 10 walk from Bath centre) and easy to find. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The view from the window looked out onto a very unique gar - Queen Charlottes Orangery is unique. It is like stepping into a fairy tale with its' beautiful furnishings and garden. We were made to feel extremely welcome by Greg who showed us to our room called Sofia which was absolutely delightful with a four poster bed and all the comforts one would expect from a four/five star hotel. Unfortunately we didn't meet Denise on this occasion but Greg proved to be a very warm and amusing host and provided great breakfasts. He also provided us with a park

  We cannot recommend the Tasburgh highly enough! Sue, the proprieter, is the most genuinely caring person and was so helpful to us throughout our stay. We stayed there over our wedding weekend and Sue and Toni were both generous with their time and support for us. The hotel itself is clean and good looking, the grounds very lovely indeed.   A luxurious feel to the rooms, the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The room was well kitted out and the bed was very comfortable. Just what you want for a couple of nights away. The view from the window, which looks out over a cricket pitch and Bath abbey, was beautiful, lovely for sitting eating and watching the world go by. I will be recommending this place to everyone! - The rooms were amazingly decorated and very spacious and clean. We had a ground floor room with a conservatory and our daughters were on the first floor. There was a small kitchen in each room which we only used for coffee/tea, but you could do some self catering. It was great having a car park and the walk into the town centre was a 5-10min stroll across the Pulteney Bridge. Would definitely stay here again on next visit to Bath.
