  The quality of the service, accommodation, food and furnishings (the breakfasts are phenomenal, and as for the evening meals...wow) and friendliness of the owners were excellent. The wi-fi was faster than we are used to at home, the little extra details - such as the chocolate brownies and the best selection of tea/coffee making facilities we have... vad folk säger » come across, (plus a really comprehensive sewing kit when we just happened to need it), added to the experience. The whole thing was so much more tha - Everything about our stay was excellent. Danny & Dawn were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very accommodating and the en suite bathroom was of a large size & clean with plenty of hot water. Dawn's cooking was also excellent for both breakfast & dinner. If staying here please take advantage of Dawn's dinner as apart from the wonderful food facilities for dining out in Ironbridge are very limited. At the FMH there is also the added advantage of parking on site. If going to Iron

  The staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough for you, especially the manager who made himself known and ensured we had everything that we needed. The room was large, with a lovely comfy bed - just what we needed after a hard day canoeing! The best thing about our stay though was the steak. Breakfast cooked in the morning by Va - Warm. spacious room with quality linen on comfortable bed. Good toiletries plus bath robes provided - a bonus at price paid.   I liked the welcome that we got when we first arrived. The room was superb very cosy and warm feeling. The staff were excellent especially Dave the owner. the breakfast was gorgeous and plenty of it. I would stay there again. - The attention to detail was outstanding, we could have relaxed at this Guesthouse for a further week If we had the time, David (owner)- greeted us on arrival and was Very helpfull at all times. We stayed in a superb room overlooking the Derby Houses. breakfast was excellent with some unusual choices not usually offered in B&B accommodation. the gust lounge is a thoughtful touch as is the availability of water and milk for our use.   The service was attentive but not intrusive, the welcome was fantastic (tea and coffee served outside - really good quality too), the room was clean and comfortable and despite warnings that the William Reynolds room had limited head height my 6ft 3 husband was fine. Really close to Ironbridge, about 1 mile or so to the town and only a couple to the museums so a taxi to coalbrookdale if need - The location, is lovely, but a little far for walking to the bridge for those less mobile - about a mile. The museums are about 3 miles away. We stayed in the coach house, which isn't attached to the main house. It was very nice, but compact, especially with the restriction for the beams. The ensuite bathroom is clean, but very small. Difficult to move around in. The freshly cooked breakfast was lovely...best I'd had in England.

  The whole stay was an event. Checking in late meant having to enter the guest house by codes through gates made it very different. The room was well equipped and not what I expected bearing in mind the age of the property. Shower was hot and powerful after walking from the car park in the rain this was very welcome.
