I had booked a small room which proved to be lovely decorated. It was located at the back of the house and had all I could wish for. Teapot, plenty of biscuits, two bottles of water, some chocolates. Modern clean rooms with excellent shower room, especially liked the shower gel supplied in wall dispenser gorgeous smell, the hand soap dispenser was the same, we stayed in room 9.
The hotel in general had a nice cosy feel to it.
Excellent staff, extremely helpful, cheery friendly and efficient, I travel a fair bit and these were the best I had encountered in quite a while.
The breakfast was lovely, yet again served by friendly cheery efficient staff.

Ross was an exceptional host. His nature/personality is perfect to be the Host of Royston.
His Home/Guest House is warm and inviting as he is what a wonderful time we had plenty of talking, laughter and good times.

Piping hot breakfast served at table and good choice on buffet.Two establishments close by for evening meals. The owner was friendly and offered local advice. I would recommend staying here to friends and family.

Mary, the proprietor, contacted me prior to the arrival date and gave me clear directions on how to find the apartment. On arrival Mary was waiting to show me around the property and explain the entry/exit systems, fire alarms etc.

Apartment 208 at By the Bridge was a great place to stay during our short break in Inverness.
Stylish and well appointed, with quality furniture and linens, this one-bedroom apartment was perfectly located with shops and restaurants right on the doorstep. The underground car park was easy to find and very convenient.
The pre-arrival information was very clear & helpful and key pick-up was straightforward.

The staff were incredible. We left early, before breakfast the breakfast hours had started, and they were kind enough to pack us sandwiches and fruit to take with us on the train.
The rooms were bright and clean, and both the mattresses and the pillows were deliciously comfortable. (This was in contrast to previous hotels on our trip.) I would very happily stay here again.

A reasonably priced hotel for a short stay when visiting Inverness. A short stroll into the centre via the castle meant this hotel was good value for money. Our room was small and had a disappointing view of a wall. But it was clean and equipped with the essentials. -

Dont judge the hotel from the outside which looks tired and dated once inside you are in for a pleasant suprise. Made to feel very welcome with drinks on the patio on arrival. Room very clean and modern and perfect location to walk into town. We were able to leave our bags all day after checkout which saved a lot if discomfort carrying these around on a very hot day. The owner was,very friendly and nothing seemed too much trouble. Would definitely recommend to others and return.

I had emailed to say that I would arrive late. I was welcomed with warmth but without fuss, the room was small but very cleverly designed & spotless, inc ensuite. Breakfast was ample with a wide choice (Im a veggie) and a bottomless cup. I saw the lounge but did not use it as I was so late arrivng, I would definitely stay again & recommend it, esp for city trip as it is so convenient.
