Each room had a unique and beautiful view of either the Loch or the garden. We stayed in a room with a garden view and enjoyed looking at the deer, birds and flowers. The room's were comfortable, clean and warm with large bathrooms. The breakfast was amazing. Allan and Sandra were wonderful hosts and gave us good information regarding trains,

Finding a place like this little gem means that you are left with good memories of your holiday.
The owners greeted us we tea and shortbread and did everything they could for you and were always cheerful. The room very comfortable with the largest bed we have ever slept in. For breakfast there was a lot of choice and it was cooked to perfection. Thank you Sandra and Allan for a lovely time.

Lovely setting overlooking the loch. Wifi from room was excellent. Chocolates on arrival. Shortbread and tea in room. Very nice bathroom. Roomy with heated floor. Room was quiet and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Loved the porridge and my own pot of hot chocolate. Short drive to Ben Nevis trailhead for hiking. Excellent location for running along loch, restaurants, shopping.

Otrolig gästvänlighet, väldigt trevliga ägare. Dessutom ligger det väldigt centralt, precis vid Fort William centrum. - We received a very warm welcome and the facilities were faultless. We stayed here for one night taking 2 rooms and enjoyed our stay here. We had 2 rooms both of which were a good size and very clean throughout. Blythdale is in a good location, only a short walk from the centre of Fort William, and with views over the loch on the other side of the road. This place is what I call a prestigious Bed and Breakfast. It made our holiday and was a perfect place to go and see the wonderful surroundings. From our room we had breathtaking views of the Loch .The room was spacious and so well presented.with a comfortable king size bed. The breakfasts were delicious and Audrey was a gracious host. Highly recommend this place to anyone.

I loved the setting, the staff were excellent, rooms lovely and clean. Best nights sleep in ages!!! Breakfast was also good. - the whole experience was good, friendly staff, beautiful surroundings, great food at a really good price. We will be back.

The staff were excellent. We did a train journey that arrived back late. The hotel kitchen was closed, but the manageress heated soup for us and made us sandwiches. We made a mistake with breakfast timings and were still served a half an hour late. Although the hotel is on a main road, the traffic at night is minimal and we slept soundly. -

Excellent hotel in practically all respects. We had a beautiful spacious room, the bathroom had a bath tub as well as a shower in it, the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful, giving us accurate answers to our enquiries, and the breakfast was so plentiful it could keep you going for the rest of the day. This was a stop-over point for us .. the view over the loch is simply lovely .. peaceful.. every changing.. The restaurant was good ..
We had inadvertently NOT made clear that we wished a double room .. and we had initially been allocated a twin room .. we were lucky that a double room was available .. and we were reallocated to this one .. (Thank you !) we will make sure we don't miss putting that in the comments when it is not clear, next time. Great on site carparking.

i liked the location and everything you needed was right next to us,i had my young son with us and what i also liked was the security in the building ,because my son has downs syndrum we have to keep a close eye on him,i only stayed a couple of nights but would have stayed a bit longer ,but finances for the inn was just enough as i have 5 boys lol

I liked the comfortable bed and room was nice and clean. There was
space to move around in. I also like the fact that there was plenty of
hot water available in the morning at a time when a lot of people would
have been using it. The bathroom was nice and roomy and also very
clean. I liked the idea of the soap dispensers at the bath and the
sink. All in all, I enjoyed very much my one night stay there and would
go back again.

The hotel was going through some renovation, but there was no disruption to our stay. The reception, bar, lounge and dinning room had recently be renovated and it was stylish, high quality and very comfortable.

My originally allocated room had an electrical fault ( kettle wouldn't boil but it turned out to be the circuit ) and I was immediately moved by the manager. The new room was at the front and I gained a view to the loch. The TV in the new room didn't work properly but that was sorted quickly too.
The room was comfortable and clean and the breakfasts good with cheery and friendly staff.
