  Really liked my sunny south facing bedroom with excellent en-suite bathroom. Exceptionally comfortable memory foam mattress (particularly important as I sometimes suffer with back pain). From this location you can walk to restaurants, the harbour, town centre and National Maritime Museum. Pendennis Castle is a 5 minute drive away. The breakfast, provided for an additional charge, was excellent.

  We stayed for a two nights, I would recommend this hotel to anyone, the staff we very friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and a good size, the same applies to the bathroom. the facilities were excellent and a very good beakfast that set us up for the day. The hotel is situated within a short walk to both the town centre and beaches..   We only stayed 1 night, We had a superior room and were very pleased as it was very clean and spacious. The separate spacious bathroom with a roll top bath and views down across the sea made this a very enjoyabale stay.   We were made to feel very welcome upon arrival. Our double room (with en suite bathroom) was comfortable and very clean. The hotel is situated in a peaceful location (yet only ten minutes drive from Falmouth town centre) with sublime sea/country views. Would highly recommend and will be returning in the future. Many thanks. - We were upgraded to a family room and this had a lovely sea view. Great to have a little minibar fridge in the room - ideal if you want to keep milk cool if you want to make up a flask for the day. The homemade orange marmarlade was to die for. I don't even like marmarlade - the owner should sell it in jars! (Can I have the recipe?). Free range chickens outside - wonderful eggs for breakfast.

  We were a group of friends visiting the area for a wedding. We booked 3 rooms and were all very pleased with the service and standard of our accommodation. But the best thing for all of us were the staff. The receptionist could not have been more helpful. We were loud, excitable and demanding and she coped with our every requests ( which were many... vad folk säger » ) with a friendly smile and professional approach. As we all work and employ staff in customer service roles we all agreed we would love to steal her - Welcome was excellent. Room spacious, well decorated. Comfortable bed. Welcome homemade biscuits. Warm and inviting. Even provided our dog with her own towel! Wonderful staff dealt with lack of hot water mechanical problem very effectively and actually turned a negative into a huge positive experience. Breakfast room, service and food, all perfect.

  After a long journey (9 hours) to reach the hotel we got a very warm welcome. The staff were extremely helpful and willing to share their local knowledge - Conrad even offered us a lift into town which we really appreciated. The room, although awaiting refurbishment, was extremely comfortable in particular the beds - I slept like a log. Breakfast each day was excellent with beautiful views down the garden to the cove - We would love to say thank you to Dave, who made our stay enjoyable. Also big thank you for a Birthday song! Jacob was amazed. Reception Ladies were very friendly, helpful and lovely. Restaurant food was an excellent! I would love to say a BIG THANK YOU to a ‘blond’ waitress. You are amazing! Garden is the best part of the Hotel. It feels like a rain forest. We love you and surly we will be back!

  We were booked into this hotel and deeply appreciated the attitude and care taken by the management. We had asked for a non-smoking room and needed it due to allergies. A prior customer had smoked in our room. So the hotel contacted us to let us know what had happened. They then took the step of getting us into another hotel in town and got us an ... vad folk säger » upgrade. We were so impressed. You cannot beat this kind of integrity and care about the welfare of customers. The staff should get a gold star. - I found all the Staff at the Engleton Guest House most friendly and helpful. Rooms were kept clean and well equipped with tea and coffee facilities. The breakfast menu was sooo! Good I soon learnt however not to order the full English as I knew I couldnt eat it all. Definately worth another visit. (My dog agrees)
