  The location was excellent for walking and the train station was only down the road if you wanted to visit other villages and Whitby, very convenient. Excellent welcome, staff very friendly and most helpful. The food was excellent, especially the homemade Steak and Theakston Ale Pie. The best breakfast I have had for a very long time and the food ... vad folk säger » was always hot. - Everything. It was a pleasure to be there. Excellent service from friendly staff. Fabulous NY Moors location. Room (no. 7) spacious, clean, bed large and very comfortable - excellent view. Dinner menu provided good range of choices at very reasonable prices. Food (dinner and breakfast) excellent quality. Oh - and the real ales well kept.

  It is a perfect place to visit the Moors and the coast. A modern comfort in a traditional english inn. The food was excellent and as expected in a traditional pub.   First class accommodation. Very good room layout and tastefully decorated. All aspects of the room and en-suite were spotlessly clean. Nice selection of teas and coffee with fresh milk provided in the room. Breakfast was outstanding and served with a smile. View from the room was spectacular and exactly how we imagined the moors to be. Judith ... vad folk säger » and Andrew were attentive hosts and did everything to ensure we had an enjoyable stay, which we certainly did. - This B&B is a real delight. We stayed in the farmhouse and the welcome and hospitality was first class. The full English beakfast was the perfect start to the day. Yes "Charlie" the border collie is very famouse but his owners remain quietly understated. The view from our bedroom window was Yorkshire at it's finest. Excellent stay.
