  Rooms are excellent value for the money and I was pleasantly surprised by the standard of cleanliness. Beds are warm and comfortable. Rooms on the ground floor along corridor behind the front desk seem to be in a quiet position, with no evidence of noise from other areas. The hotel was in an excellent position for ease of getting to Motorpoint Arena, which was just across the r - As we walked in the young lady on the reception was very polite and helpful the position of the hotel was excellent there is no parking but we parked in the st davids centre directly opposite the hotel and were there for 20hrs and it only cost £11 if you dont want to take your car the train station is only a 5 minute walk the room was really nice and facilities were very good already planing another stay at the ibis would reccomend value for money especially as it was only a 2 minute walk into

  The staff were excellent, very friendly and great service. We had dinner on one occasion and breakfast on both mornings of our stay at the hotel and all three meals wee superb. - easy to get to , facilities were very good. staff were very helpful as one of the 2 rooms booked did not get to the hotel system. It was remedied with no fuss or problem

  Our 3rd floor room was clean, well equipped with towels and toilet sundries. Heating system was excellent and we liked the facility of being able to open the window for extra ventilation. The tea/coffee- making facilities were very good and there was no problem obtaining extra milks etc from the trolley. This was a - The staff were excellant, helpful and friendly. They gave us interconnecting rooms for us and our 2 grandchildren age 13 and 11 which was ideal. the room was pleasant and clean, it was in an ideal position for the shopping centre and the Mermaid Quay and the Dr Who experience all within easy walking distance. The breakfast was ok the continental part much better than the hot food.Good choice of drinks and proper orange etc. Good value for what we paid.

  This is a great place to stay, close to the cia, all the shops andrestaurants and the train station. You come and go as you please. Thestaff are extremely friendly. The rooms are bright and so comfortableand the continental breakfast is excellent. All this on a budget price -every city should have one.   We had an amazing stay. The room was lovely, spacious and spotless. We had a very nice breakfast with plenty of choices. The hotel is very well located, just a ten minutes walk away from Cardiff city centre. Lots of restaurants and amenities close by. Cardiff Castle is only five minutes away and it's well worth a visit! We're only sorry that we couldn't stay - The hosts, James and Maria were most hospitable and made us feel welcomed. The room was large, very comfortable and very quiet. The townhouse is a comfortable 20 minute walk through a lovely extensive park adjoining a river to the centre of Cardiff.   Great location, good price, friendly staff, great leisure facilities,lovely modern room with some character. Didn't eat here so cannotcomment about food but menu and bar looked good. - Staff were welcoming, helpful and the food was fantastic and above all the bed was really comfortable.   I liked the fact that it was located so close to the city that I couldeasily walk to major tourist attractions. I also appreciated the use ofthe free car park. - The Mercure Lodge Hotel, Cardiff is a great hotel based about 5 mins from the centre - An excellent base for a weekend in Cardiff.   I cannot fault this hotel. I stayed with my partner and our dog and the staff made us all feel exceptionally welcome.   Stayed in an apartment not hotel. Ideally situated, great value and extremely clean and comfortable. Will definitely return. Lady booking us in was extremely helpful. - It was quite close to the city centre - only a 20 minute walk. \It wasvery secure and the apartment was immaculate and well presented.

  Beautiful house, with loads of space, that was perfect for our weekend away. With the sofa bed and camp bed we managed to sleep 10 comfortably. The outside space is fantastic for lounging in the sun. The location is brilliant, with Cardiff city centre around 15 minutes away, and some nice pubs nearby. Had no problem with parking outside the house.... vad folk säger » - We stayed in the 2 bedroom house, its beautifully designed and welcoming. Finished to a very high standard. It's not as small as a previous review would imply; 4 of us stayed there and we hosted a small afternoon party for a total of 9 adults quite comfortably.

  Anita was extremely friendly and helpful from the moment we entered to the hotel. Thanks. The bed was big enough, all housekeeping staff were respecting our privacy. We have seen that the room was tidy and new towels were given every day, but all of our personal staff was exactly where we left it.   The staff were excellent, very professional, courteous, helpful and kind. Daniel Mlcousek the manager on duty was extremely helpful in dealing with my mother who is 76 and a stroke victim with mobility issues. We were a mixed bunch of guests, my mother, my father (81) and my niece (11), so our needs were varied, though all the - Room was a good size and felt spacious. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom has a shower but no bath, but the shower worked well with good temperature control and water pressure. Tv and remote worked well and all the controls functioned well.Wif-fi is free and worked well too. The lighting in the room was good, and the desk was just large enough to work on. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good for just £7.95 all- in.
