  First of all we tried at last minute to accomodate a family of 2 adults and 2 kids but we never imagined that we could get 2 days accomodation at this price. The staff were very friendly when we arrived. They arranged the room quickly eventhough their reservation system did not reflect that we had 2 kids whereas our booking reciept mentioend the s... vad folk säger » ame. The room was bigger enough to accomodate 4 persons. We got free WI-FI to connect electronic items whereas the booking receipt said it will be ch - The location was ideal as a stopover before our final destination the next day.There was ample parking and when booking in, the receptionist was friendly and helpful. The accomodation was clean, comfortable and extremely quiet and peaceful.When we make this trip in the future, without doubt,Norton Canes is where we will stay.

  We needed some peaceful away time and found just what the doctor ordered,the perfect location to chill out watching the x factor final,very relaxing and enjoyable,would definately return . - The staff were exceptionally polite, the hotel was at a fantastic location, close to the M6.   Friendly, obliging staff. Despite being on the A5, the hotel is restful and surrounded by rural views, and wild-life right outside your window, (from mine I saw pheasant, rabbits, and watched a mole scuttling along, only to be swooped upon by a kestrel.   The close location to the town centre, and the location in general made it a good base for visiting the larger towns and cities near their. Plus the linked Beefeater, this was excellent as eals could be taken there without the need to look elsewhere.   Being a Premier Inn the rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The pub next door is fantastic for grabbing a drink and the meals were great value for money. - Nina the receptionist was very welcoming and friendly, and very helpful.   We stayed for one night to visit a nearby venue. The staff were very freindly and helpful, they found and printed off directions to the place we were going. The next morning arrived late for breakfast and it was still no trouble, the full english breakfast was really good, lots of food and well cooked. Although we had'nt booked a table at the restaurant which was very busy the Manager soon found us a table and we enjoyed a lovely evening meal, very reasonably priced. Staff in both the Hotel and restaurant were very friendly and efficient.We would definitely stay again if in the area and can recommend The Barns.

  Excellent location on the edge of Cannock Chase which has some of the best mountain bike rides in Europe. There is a camping site being constructed for bike riders to stay.
