Vad folk säger
I thought the room was good value for money. Yes, the room was small, but the bed was comfortable and it had all the facilities I needed. The breakfast was more than adequate as well, which was unexpected. small room but comfortable enough to saty one night for sleep.Very close to train station. It was great for our use as we used it simply as a base for exploring Cambridge, simply needing somewhere to sleep and get changed. However, it would not have been sufficient for a place to relax in as there were no comfy chairs and limited space.alla recensioner »
Friendly kind staff, clean room, loved the breakfast room with the view!. Very comfy beds...very clean and nice reception guy.handsome reception staff when we arrived 1st day. warm in the bedroom and yummy breakfast. Staff on reception professional, friendly and welcoming. Cleanliness was very good.Very friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Converted Railway Parcel Office handy for station, Double Room very adequate, Staff friendly, Breakfast continental only,. It was very practical - everything one might need without any frills. It was amazingly comfortable considering the unusual accommodation.the shower, the breakfast room and breakfast, the staff. Helpful receptionist, room nice and warm.convienent location, basic accommadation. How colse from the station it was. Convenience and location. The staff were very helpful, as far as they were allowed to be by the hotel rules. Rooms are tiny and basic, but clean and cheap. The railway station is very close.Convenient, near to station. Good value for money. very convenient location. Safe for single female. Ease of use, convenience, value for money. cityroomz was very clean and everything was there(except a plug in the wash basin which I forgot to report) but it was not what I was expecting but it serveed its purpose for one night and it would not be fair to be critical about the place or say I would not recommend it. It was the only place available some six weeks previous which clouded my chioce. I certainly did not have any complaints.Great location - walk to town in 10 mins or 5 mins by bus. 'light' breakfast was a lovely surprise as more than adequate with ham rolls etc. (no cooked brekkie but that was advertised beforehand and fine with me!). Cute cabin room, lovely comfy bedding. Easy to find - a bargain for a short stay. Helpful friendly staff - I even managed to get a parking space! Many thanks.Very helpful staff, close to station, good breakfast. Not like any other hotel, this is a good concept. Convenient for station. The proximity to the station and an easy walk into town.Convenient location. Clean and good breakfast. Location and convenience. Hot shower. Price. Heating works. It was frozen outside but the room was warm. Proximity of the hotel to the station. close to train station. Convenient location. Nice and near the station and town. If I was being picky, just the thin walls - luckily my neighbours weren't too noisy. However, I have been in much more expensive hotels with this same problem!. Kind of too warm. It was good as well, though. Room was a bit clostaphobic bathroom v small. It was really noise on a Saturday evening with everyone coming back drunk after hours and if you're catching the coach over from London, it's about a 10-15 min walk from the park so not near the train station if you have heavy luggage. the room is tooooooooooo small...but still ok, coz quiet and warm to sleep in the nite. You couldnot reserve parking even though the website said you could, which was stressful as I was on my own in cambridge and didnt know if I'd be able to park outside the hotel, howerver as it turned out i could, so all was well.. The room was very small, but cosy and clean. No smoking policy not aparrent until you get there; walk in rate same as internet rate. bit noisy outside, bit too warm in the bed room, couldnt open the main door to get in when returning to the hotel but member of staff kindly helped me!. Very limited parking (though we did get a space, thanks to the receptionist); hot water took an age to come through.cramped room. We needed more information on breakfast and times there was no information in our room. There's a blanket policy against arriving even a few minutes early to check in. Rooms are tiny - with just a few inches and a curtain between the bunkbed and the toilet... No hair dryer or shampoo in room. If not provided it would be good to be informed at least as I assumed these would be available.very small rooms. Proximity of toilet in a twin room!. My room was noisy, despite asking for a quiet room on the booking form. I had to keep window closed but could still hear buses, people outside and other guests were noisy late at night. The pipes in my room 'ran' for a long time after i flushed the toilet as well as made noises when the toilet was flushed in the room above. The shower really was rather tiny. Extremely little space in the room, no table, no wardrobe or regal orsomething where to put clothes (and no place for it), just two hangerswas all; thus ok for one night, but difficult for more. No, it was fine for what it attempts to be - a clean shelter. I did not like the size of the room, it's too small. It took 35 minutes for our group of 7 pre-booked clients to check in. Very poor check-in staff / systems. They did not supply gluten free cereal -not acceptable in the year 2008 when it's readily available at the supermarkets. The noise of people coming and going was very loud as was the noise of the plumbing from upstairs ie toilets flushing and shower water flowing through the pipes. The walls and floors must be very thin...It was very cold, even allowing for the temperature outside, there did not seem to be heating in my room and the breakfast room was cold too. Sound proofing. Size of the room: no more than 6 m2 !!!. This is not a hotel. It is a bed in a very small room. I suppose for the money it was adequate for one night.Very small room. the light from the side table did not work. The size of the rooms. bit rubbish breakfast and very simple rooms, website pictures make the place look better than it is. The heating - far too hot! Rooms too cramped for the price.to be honest, the place was tiny, too tiny for 2 people. Would be fine for one but even for a compact style room it was awful.
