  This hotel is very close to shopping and train station 5 minutes walk. The staff were very helpful with getting checked in and making sure that everything was good with our stay. Could be classed more as a Bed & Breakfast than a hotel. There was plenty of parking available.   Well presented and maintained hotel, includes great breakfast. Close to boutique shops and train station within 15min walk. One of the best hotels we visited on our 3 week UK tour.   On arrival my check was done fast and as I arrived early before my check in time, the room attendant left his work cleaning another room and cleaned my room so I can get early access and though if he wanted he could have said to come back later.   My room despite having a average floor plan had an incredible feeling of space due to the high ceilings and huge sash window overlooking the gorgeous gardens. The fire alarm went off at around 05:15, I was very impressed with the professionalism of the staff and the thorough checks they carried to the building before confirming it was a false alar... vad folk säger » m and allowing us back to our rooms at around 05:30. - The staff were really welcoming and friendly, especially Paul. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and shall be back. The room was smal but did us well. We shall look at booking one of the newly refurbished ones next time.
