  The location was perfect, the staff were more than helpful, the buffet breakfast provided was all you could want and was of a good standard. The hotel was perfectly clean and the beds were very comfortable.   Lovely hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had an inland double and the room was clean and bright, and warm on such a cold weekend. Very comfortable bed. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was great (although it is over a bath).   The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a large room with 3 single beds and plent of room to walk around. The view was amazing, and perfect for us to get ready in and crash for one night. The rooms need a little TLC but for the price you pay it was clean and comfy enough for a short stay! You're a short walk to the Lanes and the beach front so location is ideal - Staff were generally friendly. The room was very 'homely' even though it was obviously a very old building. Was cosy at night. The area wasn't too noisy even though it was on the beach. Very pleased with my stay, already planning to stay here again when me and my friend next visit Brighton.

Our rooms wasn't ready when we arrived so they gave us free drinks at the bar and up graded us to a rome with a sea view and a balcony. It was gorgeous.   We visit Brighton several times each year; this was our first stay at the Granville. Excellent location at a very reasonable price. We stayed in 'Lewes', a small room, very nicely designed (with an emphasis on glass blocks) and furnished. It was next to the lift (elevator) but we were not at all disturbed by operating noise. It would be nice to have an option of which themed room you get and to see the options online - probably possible if you call them up though. Jacuzzi in the Sea-view rooms works a treat! American style diner below (room service available). Huge portions in the sharing platters.

  The hotel made you feel at home, had a very enjoyable stay. Even thou we were only there for two nights we felt that we had had a very relaxing time and felt very refreshed. - The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were of a very good size. We loved the feeling of grandeur and would definitely recommend the hotel to others.
