  The 'home from home' feel and Donna and John were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast and service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Brilliant all round for families.   Our stay at Lonsdale Hotel was truly magical! We went down to Blackpool just for 1 night to attend the Red Rose Awards and did not expect this trip to be much more than a regular 1 night business trip, my we were wrong! Steven and Carl from Lonsdale made our stay so memorable and personal! Steven and Carl were so incredible kind and helpful, I just cannot l - This was our third visit to the Lonsdale and yet again Stephen and Karl made our stay most enjoyable. They are the perfect hosts making your break at the Lonsdale as pleasurable and relaxing as possible. The Lonsdale is a wonderful haven of retreat and beautiful in every sense of the word.   Elaine and Steve were very nice and welcoming, helpd out with directions and facilities in town too. I normally stay in hotels when working away but thought it'd be nice to have a 'home' feel for once. The room was very pretty, clean and tidy. modern but not agressively modern. good size too. All good, and would definitively stay there again. - Everything fantastic this hotel is such a credit to Elaine & myself & hubby & my 2 child 10-9 was made very welcome from the moment I rang the bell :) the breakfast is fantastic so much to pick and all fresh the room were spotless as was the hotel couldn't of asked for more they even went out there way to help my older daughter & boyfriend who was stoping in another hotel they r such a lovely couple and will be sure going back again next yr

  The hotel was excellent in everyway! the rooms were very clean and keep to a high standard thoughout our stay, the food again excellent and the proprietors are very warm and friendly, they made a good holiday great. would definitely reccomend this hotel if your staying in blackpool.   The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The rooms was 10/10 very clean and comfortable. It was also very quiet and no loud disturbances.   Everything was fantastic! Sue was so helpful and kind, really made us feel comfortable from the very beginning. Its a very beautiful little place, the room was great! Clean, warm, & comfortable! Its great as well because you are close to some main attractions, but not too close that it's noisy. We both found it was a nice and q - Sue, the owner was very friendly, welcoming, chatty and gave time to each of her guests. She also provided us with details of a venue which was holding a fireworks display, as we arrived on 5 November 2013. Our room was clean, had up to date decoration, and the towels were changed daily. There was sufficient sockets for electrical items, and the tea and coffee items were replenished daily. A good hearty breakfast was provided every morning.

  From the second we arrived the service was exceptional. After a warm welcome and up to date info on everything from eating out to entertainment Ricky directed us to our room which was fantastic. When going to Blackpool a stay in this guest house is a must cannot praise Ricky & Kath enough and of course the old coac - Rick and Kath are delightful hosts. We arrived after a nightmare journey - Rick was on the doorstep to welcome us, carried our bags from the car, recommended a fabulous local Indian restaurant and ordered the taxi to take us there! Unbelievably peaceful weekend break, especially given that we were but a few minutes' walk from Blackpool Pleasure Beach. Lovely, clean room and superb breakfasts.

  We enjoyed every aspect of our stay at the Libra, we had a friendly welcome from Colin and Elaine. The rooms and the facilities were second to none and the breakfast was first class. The friendly atmosphere made our stay so much more enjoyable. The parking was an added bonus and the central location meant we could walk to and from the many bars, r... vad folk säger » estaurants, shows etc. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone. - Have stayed in Blackpool on numerous occasions and have been left disappointed by accommodation but Hotel Libra was by far the best place we have stayed and exceeded our expectations. Very friendly owners and staff, lovely and clean, beautiful room, bed was comfy and the breakfast was plentiful (plenty of choice for everyone). I would recommend a stay at this hotel.
