From when i entered the hotel i was greeted by the owner,he was very polite and paid attention to me,he checked me in then offered to carry my bag to the room,he also showed me to the room. The room was very clean,it was at the rear of the building. Breakfast was good and plenty. when i had to leave they allowed me to leave my bags there for the day as my train was in the evening.I will stay there again in the near future.No complaints at all.
alla recensioner » we stayed for one night only to attend a concert at winter gardens the location was fab really close the hotel was really clean and presentable the staff were lovely and offered to do our breakfast one hour early as we all had to get to work the manager said we are very flexible they certainly were ten out of ten and a truly delicous quality english breakfast was served would not hesitate to stay again thank u all at the carlton the lumbs. Me my friend and our 2 little girls stayed at the Carlton for 1 night, I'm very particular with where I say but I could not fault it at all, the staff were brilliant the room was everything we expected and more and the breakfast was "amazing" as said by my 9 yr old daughter who had the full English! Would definitely stay there again xx. Check in was very quick. Shown to our room. The room was very clean and well equipped. Plenty of hot water. Breakfast was plentiful, well cooked and quickly served. free wi-fi was excellent and was very reliability and a good quality. Hotel is not too noisy and had very good nights sleep. Very friendly staff booked for 3 nights but had to cancel the last night this was done by the hotel with no problems. Changed the time of breakfast for us as we had to leave earlier for work. It's a quiet place but only a few minutes walk to the center of Blackpool. The owners, Stuart and Elizabeth, were friendly and helpful. Room a little small. Bath on the small side and slow to fill. Bed was a little low and hard for my taste. Nothing apart from no on site parking but could park on the street out side. The double rooms are a little small. We were worried about night time noise from the town but shouldn't have, not a peep!. Nothing. Wifi didnt work in the rooms. Bed was old, low to floor and springs pushed against my osteoporotic spine. The young couple who own and run the place did everything they could to relieve the problem. no negatives everything positive. I have no complaints. No comments. The room was a little on the snug side although we didn't exactly spend a lot of time in there so it didn't bother us. Nothing. Bedroom was on the small side!. No reason to complain at all. road outside is very busy and noisy at times with traffic but wouldn't put me off staying again. Wifi wouldn't connect A few rowdy neighbours in early hours of the morning. low and soft mattress....although it wasn't uncomfortable. the only downside was the shower - it was a bit on the cool side!!. Noisy guests but nothing the staff could do about that, didnt ruin our stay. Nothing was wrong with the hotel. room very very small for a family of 3, and the shower was freezing, beds were very low and not very comfy. but again for what we paid didn't expect the Ritz. Not being able to book it direct with the hosts. It was lovely. Breakfast was a little too overcooked. Room was small. Only downfall is that there is no parking!. nothing to dislike. No wardrobe or draws. They could have done with more blinds to block out the morning sun as it woke me up.
