  Clean and McDonald even I almost never care for it. When you are hungry, you eat anything. Restaurant's menu looked great but wanted to just have a simple meal this time. The Shu - The shuttle bus service was great-- cheap and very regular. It seemed like everytime we were in the lobby, there was a bus out front waiting for passengers. We took the Stansted Express into London 2 days in a row and it was extremely easy. One night we got back to Stansted very late and were pleased to discover the shuttle bus runs until 1 A.M., so we had no trouble getting back to the hotel. The staff was very friendly.   Vi fick mycket trevligt mottagande. Stort och fräscht rum. Varmt och skönt. Självservering på frukost. Enkel och trevlig lösning. Personalen var generösa med skjuts till och från flygplatsen. Dessutom bokade de en gemensam taxi åt oss och ett annat sällskap. På så sätt blev det bara halva kostnaden för den taxiresan. - Super trevliga.

  What a pleasant surprise. We booked this hotel because it had an offer "Best deal" and needed an overnight stay at Stansted. Even though the hotel is ideally situated close to the airport and the M4 no noise could be heard. Brekfast is offered but it has also a great service building right next to it with fast food restaurants, Starbucks and a sup... vad folk säger » ermarket. The gentleman who checked us in was extremely friendly and courteous. The room and the bathroom were large and the bed comfortable. Definite - I was here to attend a wedding a few miles away and so none of your above categories fit at all so I had to pick a box and chose mountains as this is the most unsuitable.The staff were very helpful and although I arrived before official check in time I( was able to check in straightaway. It was a hot day but the air conditioning in the room worked perfectly.The helpful receptionist phoned for a taxi for me.

  The Woodlands Lodge was a wonderful place to stay. Good access. Good parking. Lovely friendly staff. Beautifully clean and well decorated. Loads of space in the room. Great facilities. Terrific large bathroom. The most comfortable bed I have slept. In my opinion the Woodland Lodge is a five star.   After experiencing various of the airport hotels close to Stansted, a stay at Lancaster's (on the basis of the reviews here) came as a delightful surprise. Don't be put off by the slightly naff pic; 'Rosy Lea' is the tea-room downstairs. The B&B has a separate entrance round the side. Loved the room; characterful, tasteful, quirky and t - It's quirky and charming. The room was lovely and crucially, not horribly over-heated. As the owners don't live on site there is food for breakfast left in a little fridge - so no need to watch the clock. For a cooked breakfast or brunch you can visit the Tea Rooms downstairs (I had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon - really good).The people I met were friendly and helpful.
