  The views from Syon House are simply wonderful and its proximity to the beach at Budleigh Salterton was certainly a bonus. Our room was an oasis of calm, with a fantastic shower & a very comfortable bed. The staff are friendly... the breakfast set us up for the day and we would both thoroughly recommend a stay there. A lovely place! Very good breakfast! One of our party left a jacket behind and Jola very kindly posted it on immediately, after phoning me to let me know about it - good service :)

  The catering for the function we attended at the Hotel was really excellent. - Although we were only staying overnight the comfort, cleanliness and ambience of the hotel was great. We had a lovely evening meal and breakfast in a beautiful dining room - we would hope to come again.

  We had booked another hotel for the night, a 2 star country hotel with very good reviews and in a peaceful location to find while in Devon on the day of our stay the original hotel had double-booked so letsbookhotel.com found us The 4 star Belmont as a replacement. The Belmont was on the seafront and we had a sea view which was great. Luckily sidm... vad folk säger » outh is a quiet seaside town so it didn't spoil our trip. The Belmont is spotless and the staff are excellent, can not do enough to be of service. - I came for a break-away from a stressful life. It was perfect for comfort, always interesting view from the warmth of the big lounges, and the easy access to the enchanting Town. And the numerous staff were so very discreet with their cheerful friendliness.
