This small hotel is all about the views, perched on top of a very steep hill with awesome postcard views of Goreme and surrounding areas. The common patio area and terraces were just so inviting and relaxing after a long day's sightseeing and a wonderful way to watch the sun set, even though the hotel itself is very close to sunset point.

Ahmet was extremely welcoming and helpful! We were offered an
additional breakfast the first morning we arrived, we took the night
bus and had a tour right after, so it was really nice. Btw, the
breakfast was excellent, the best we had in Turkey. Just before we left
(after a whole-day visiting), he said we could take a shower before
getting on the bus, which is really really nice!! We had the room on

We stayed 3 nights in Village Cave House Hotel and had a great time. The building itself was an old cave and our room was historically used as a kitchen. There was even an old fashion oven in the middle of the room- we loved it!! It was very nice and cosy. Also the owner was very helpful and friendly. As soon as we arrived, Mr. Onur helped us plan our trip on the map. Just like this, we made a great tour programme...

Everything was perfect. The staff were very helpful and always had a smile on their face. They went out of their way to help. The receptionist even gave me her mobile phone to use! The spa centre was enjoyable. They had woman only swimming/spa time too. The quality of the food at the restaurant was excellent. I would definitely visit here again, we even extended our stay at Ankara because the hotel was so good, we did not want to leave.

Safran Cave Hotel is family-owned and operated. The owners were warm,
very hospitable, and welcoming to our children. The owner's son Avni
is fluent in English and very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean,

Rumi Hotel was one of the best hotels we stayed at! Being tired from all the site seeing, Rumi hotel gave us that rest we needed ( it was very similar to western hotels). We came from the states so customer service was a big deal to us...the staff and specifically Ahmed, was so kind and helpful. Hassan was also a very warm-hearted, true, and helpful person :) thank you Rumi Hotel!

The staff at the hotel was absolutely top-notch. Not only were they the helpful about arranging tours, recommending restaurants, even reserving out of town excursions, they were some of the friendliest people we met in Cappadocia. They do everything to help make your stay pleasant, and your visit to the area as effortless as possible. Ask for Ilknur and Kemal, they were terrific.

Wow!!!! Possibly the coolest hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff was
incredibly helpful. They were instrumental in helping us get some of our
lost luggage from Kayseri airport. They booked all the tours for us and
made our trip so effortless. The views from the room were spectacular.
We are the envy of all our friends when we show them the pictures of our
room. Will definitely stay here again if given the opportunity.

My children and I stayed three nights. It's within walking distance of the bus station and about two kilometers from the Göreme Open Air Museum. In the other direction are some other ruins if you prefer something away from most of the tourists. The night and morning managers were the epitome of hospitality--answering questions, giving marvelous recommendations, offering apple tea and just overall being excellent hosts. The rooms were clean & spacious and the bathrooms were very nice. T
