I really recommend this hostel. Excellent location in the centre of the city. Cheap price for a single tourist. No noise. People write they wake up because of prayers in the early mornings. I slept and heard nothing (I closed the window)! Reception 24 hours (I arrive at 6.30am and

I stayed for two nights and was on my own. The room was very small, about 2x2m2 but I didn't need it to be bigger. All I wanted was a place to sleep at night and leave my luggage during the day. There was a double bed in the room, with a very comfortable, hard mattress, a sink, a mirror and a TV. There was also very good wi-fi. It was quiet and clean. Centrally located, super cheap, friendly receptionist. Perfect for me.

Hotel Staff:
- Mustafa the hotel manager is a very helpfull young man with good english, he answer any question you may have and give you any info regarding places and how to get to tourist attraction.
- We put note when book the hotel to have lower ground floor as we can't climb the stairs too high and Mustafa did give us the lowest floor he have.
Hotel Facilities:
- Room was clean and looks new with shared but clean toilet and large shower room.

The staff here make the place what it is. They are all amazing and hilarious and work super hard to make your stay comfortable. The hostel is also a hotel and restaurant and bar and sheisha bar and the food is delicious and not too expensive. If you are a musician then they have guitars. a violin, bongos, tambourine and another crazy turkish instrument which I don't know the name of. Best hostel iv stayed in and Iv stayed in many many hostels!

I was really impressed the way hospitable and friendly the staff was. They helped us all the time, gave us the needed advice and were always polite. If we had to go to other city, - they showed us the way, if we had a problem, then they solved it easily. In Orient Hostel we felt like in big family, knowing some nice people from all over the world.

The hostel staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful and we really enjoyed spending time with them.
The hostel is located right near the historic area of Istanbul. You can get in just minutes to Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sofia, The Blue Mosque or Basilica Cistern. It is also very easy to get to the hostel from Sultanahmet tram station.
One big plus is that the hostel was very clean. Also, we had breakfast included in the room price and the hostel had safety boxes to keep our valuables.

The Tulip hotel is extremely clean. The staff is very helpful, friendly,
accomodating, and speaks great English. The location is wonderful - very
convenient to all the major sites in Sultanhamet (Blue Mosque, Topkapi,
Hagia Sophia) as well as the great public transit network. Breakfast was
quite nice. The showers were wonderful, and had lots of hot water. They
were able to help arrange other travel within Turkey. Ahmet, the young
