The hotel is in a good location for the tram and tourist sites, close to
the Blue Mosque. Gaye is a delightful lady who is very helpful and more
than happy to ensure the stay is very good. The breakfast offered what I
wanted yoghurt, fruit, nuts, coffee. It also had cereals, boiled eggs,

Hotel was really nice..old style, rooms clean and warm ( we were in november in it was really cold that time). Stuff very nice, airport transportation was a big plus. hotel is really near all the historical monuments..we have small kids so even they were happy to walk because it was so close. In general was very very good.

The apartment is new and well equipped. It is about a kilometre to the
Blue Mosque etc but I enjoyed the walk and always felt safe walking back
alone late at night. The man who owns the apartment (Ahmed) was lovely
and went out of his way to be helpful. There is a pide shop below the
apartment and a fruit shop and general store very close by, as well as a
café around the corner. I would definitely recommend this place. It was
great value for money.

Very helpful, friendly and welcoming staff. Close location to the excellent tram network that runs in and around Istanbul. Very easy and simple access to all the sights of Istanbul by using the tram. If you look for a perfectly located hotel with local flair, you will love Djem. We booked a de Luxe room (located on the second floor in the building facing the mosque). Here, the view is magnificent. The owner runs a shop in the nearby art bazaar and all over the hotel and the room you will find beautiful examples of traditional and contemporary Kelim art. Personnel is great and speaks good to excellent English. Of course you hear the Muezzin at night, but that just adds to the oriental charms
