Location is good, you can found all you need by foot.....such as eating, shop, street market, metro station.......any things you want or you need

I had book TWO large room. But we had ONE large room and small room at first night. After their arrange, i had TWO large room for my stay.

Cooking chef makes excellent cookies(guraby),staff was very friendly,location of hotel is excellent near Blue mosque,Hagia Sophia and Tokapi palace.Hotel is very clean.If I cam again in Istanbul it will be definitely Gulhanepark hotel again.Best regards for the hotel staff.

I found all the hotel information I read in your letsbookhotel.com are real. I like the most the quality of the breakfast food.

Part of old town and closer to Istanbul Terminal Cruise Port. We enjoyed breakfast.

Got wrong direction to get off from wrong train station. It took us half hour to get right information with different language. We had dinner at Terrace restaurant. Very slow service. Meal was not great.

Hotel is clean and has good location for sightseeing (walking distance). It is also based in the neighbourhood which is fairly calm during evening/night. Reception staff is very friendly and willing to help.

Prior to the trip we agreed with hotel via email to provide us shuttle from the airport however neither nobody appeared when we arrived nor did the taxi driver picked up the phone. Restaurant staff could show more self-initiative when filling in missing food in self-service breakfast (milk, bread).

Reception staff were exceptionally helpful and obliging, rooms are spacious, WiFi works very well in all areas (although you need different passwords for various areas in the hotel), location is perfect for exploring the Old City, close to public transportation

Quite a raw view from the front side (on a demolished site in front), old furniture and fittings, breakfast is rather poor, almost zero true international tv (mostly Arabic or Turkish)

The excellent location. Large comfortable room. Friendly, helpful staff. Decent breakfast.

I paid about £80 per night for this room, but the "normal" rate was 3 times higher than this. I'd have been disappointed if I'd paid much more than the £80.

Perfect location close to Topkapı Palace.

The view is spoilt by an ugly multi storey carpark.

Location was good, room was good size, breakfast was good.

Staff provided a lot of information about tours and hotel services which was too much to take in when checking in. Would like this information in a brochure. I didn't realise the spa was part of the hotel until we were leaving.

Friendly Staff

Location pass by cars - very narrow street and restrictions for the cars

- location is perfect for those who want to explore sultanahmet/fatih area - nice small restaurants all around - tram stop is very close to the hotel

- they dont have a separate luggage that can be locked

I booked this hotel twice in June 2013. I, my wife and daughter liked it so much. the breakfast was excellent and many options. Staff are so friendly and helpful and I would like specially VEDAT KONUK and BAYRAM, they are so nice and the smiles is always in their faces.

I was a bit scared while booking this hotel given some of the low reviews. However I found the hotel to clean, comfortable and well priced given it's location to some of the major sites of Istanbul. The three bed room was very spacious and breakfast decent. I will certainly go back to Gulhane Park Hotel on my next trip

The receptionist gave us 1hr early checkin which was good but she said we were 'extremely' lucky as this is not at all usual

All was great at the hotel: staff very friendly and helpful, perfect location - without hustle and bustle of Istanbul, but at the same time it is so near to historical center. Nice room and good nutritious breakfast.

The staff is very helpful and friendly and makes an effort to go the extra mile to meet your requests. The location of the hotel is within walking distance to most of the main attractions and very close to the train station and tram. The room I stayed in covered my 1 night need and was adequate.

The TV did not work. I called twice to have it checked too and only had someone respond 20minutes later. I was told that a Technician will look at the TV the next day, however I was in the hotel for only one night. You are not able to browse in the stores without someone trying to sell you something you are just admiring. Lots of hagglers on the streets trying to sell you watered down perfumes.

Hotel was clean, fresh and cosy, Staff were caring and responded to any needs that we had. Shuttel was arranged with no problems. Morning breakfast was of a 5 start standard, was lovely.

1) view from the window 2) breakfast - it's not varied at all 3) staff is good but they will not advise you the best in city (how italians, for exaple, do), so be vigliant! 4) wi-fi also is not hogh-speed I can't evaluate the hotel in comparison with others 'cause it was the first time in Istanbul. But the price was very good, so I'm delighted

Excellent location. Very near to Gulhane park (ex part of TopCapii palace) in the middle of the old city. All attraction are walking distance.

Rooms are very small. We can hardly move.

The location was good. The rooms and bathrooms were big enough for family of 4.

Very expensive parking for 12 hours stay. They lied to us, but we need our cars, that's why we had to pay 30 usd. Awful breakfast. Colored in orange juice, if you want something with any taste you have to pay an expensive rate. Not friendly staff. Nothing like the Turkish hospitality.
