  Having travelled all around Thailand for the last 15 years I had noticed the Ayara on the hill but only in passing during stays at other resorts. The resort manages to provide the excellent Thai service to a very high standard, without being to formal. We misplaced a wallet containing over £1500 in various currencies and my driving licence. Hotel & spa is proper 5 star, staff are very freindly and helpful. Rooms are great wih fantastic views. Breakfast included up to 10:15 and was really good. The hotel is a 5-10 min walk to the beach strip, and the hotel came with free membership access to the 2 best beach clubs on the beach strip (catch beach club and bimi beach club).   As a family traveling with a 15month old, the two bedroom apartment walking out to the pool (room 101) we hired was ideal. Some of the rooms located closer to the carpark can be more noisy. There are two beaches located nearby. Surin beach is the closer, and cleaner, whilst Bang Tao is a further walk.   Trevligt fräscht hotell. Bra med tillgång av internet, de tillåtna 30 min. räcker oftast. Borde dock ha åldergräns nedåt. Småbarn som sitter och spelar spel på kvällarna medans föräldrarna äter middag är ganska irriterande om man har behov av att uträtta ärenden via internet.   Our stay at the Chava was perfect from start to finish. We were picked up at the airport as promised with babyseat and on time. We were greeted by the manager which was a lovely touch. Our room had a baby cot as requested which was already set up. The room was perfect for our stay, the staff and surroundings were just great. Warm pools, long and deep enough to swim in. For being Phuket, I really enjoyed Surin Beach – not overcrowded and there were some nice beach restaurants (at least the one we went to, Catch Beach Club). The hotel is a 5 min walk from the beach, and down there you can find bars, chairs and massage.

  We stay in one of the regular rooms. It was actually nicer than I expected, and quite large for a standard room. I was happy with our room but would recommend booking one of the rooms with pool access. The staff and concierge were wonderful and went out of their way to help.
