The white is the perfect budget accommodation! The rooms are nice and spacious and the beds are so big and comfortable! And best of all its cheap! Perfect place for backpackers to stay for a break from hostels!! Great location too :).

Location was fantastic (although directions from the White 1 to the White 2 were not great). Although the room was pretty basic, it was comfortable and clean enough. Seemed a reasonable price given how much other places on Phi Phi were charging.
Fantastic location - 2 minutes to the beach and all of the shops, bars, restaurants etc right on the door step! Not loud though!

The hotel is in a quiet area of town - about 10 minutes walk from the ferry. so if you want to sleep at night it is possible.

It was a little hard to find and the staff was not the most helpful. Other than that we had a great stay.
Noisy in the night, since it is close to the party zone. Sometimes wifi was down for no particular reason.
Only one set of keys per room and reception is closed from 7pm until 6am.
Wasn't told I'd be staying at the White 2 (apparently all online bookings are for here), and the directions the lady at the White 1 gave me were, well, wrong. The wifi did not work in my room. Also, I'm not usually bothered by slightly disinterested staff, but here it was a real effort to even get their attention. Despite all this, I'd probably stay there again.
Bathroom - combined shower and toilet area wasn't great!

I booked a room with 2 beds as we are mother and daughter travelling together. We were moved between 3 rooms in the first day. In the first room the aircon was broken and there was only 1 bed, the second room again only 1 double bed. Finally we were shown to the room we should have been put in right from the start as the staff had confused our booking. All rooms smelt of mould. The hotel is overpriced for what you get - but i suppose the whole of phi phi island is overpriced for what you get.
Toilet is not separate from shower.
Small room. The whole place is being run down with an overhaul urgently needed. I have stayed here previously and have noticed a gradual degradation of appearance and standards. The reception area is always a mess and the staff sullen. No soap and shampoo supplied. Poor selection of TV channels. Mould between tiles in the bathroom. Table for laptop is too small. Only fair wifi internet connection. There was an attempted break-in to our room through the balcony window on our last night.
Staff is not very friendly (The White 1 seemed more friendly, but also more noisy). No room cleaning, no breakfast.

The room is so small and a bit dusty. Sometimes the bed made some noise like it was about to break. Staffs are just ok, not friendly or welcoming. It's so noisy in the morning and evening from the scream of some children. It's quite pricey for the kind of room we stayed in.
Very basic. Too basic in fact.
Concrete floors which they expect you to walk bare footed on.
