  The apartment was in walking distance from the old town and the city. The Internet was great. The kitchen was nice and modern though the oven tray was not clean. - Clean and reactive team to fix the few issues. Parking in the area quite easy at night.

The kitchen has a fantastic stove and even a dish washer, which is ideal if you intend to stay for a few days. Our room also had an excellent table which can be used for eating or working.

  The room is small about 20 m2 with WC-bathroom (if we don't count the terrace) but it has good facilities : iron, ironing table, oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, dining table,cooking utensils (pot, pan, boiling dish, spoon, fork, knife, spatula, ...), dishes, four mugs, wardrobe. Location is good and near city center (and main railway station), y... vad folk säger » ou can go even by walk (ground is steep to the city center), although using tram no. 10 is much easier. You can also come right to the hotel form airp - Cozy and clean apartments. Very simple check-in procedure. Apartments are equipped with everythig you need. Exellent location. Only two tram stops from Zurich Hauptbahnhof, stop for tram #10 which goes to airport is in ten meters from building, supermarket coop is opposite building, a lot of cafes and restaurants around, only 10 minutes walking to the old city and Zurich lake.

  Very neat room, spacious, pleasant in atmosphere, comfortable bed, great shower, all necessary equipment and features: what I would expect from a 3 stars hotel (or even 4). So really, incredible for the money!! Location is extremely convenient (easy connections to hb and center through tram: 10mn). As long as you enter the correct code of course, but it is very clear and well explained. T - No reception but key is easy to collect from the box on the wall. The room is soooooo big for the price if you just visited tourism place like Venice.... It is clean and safe,modern decoration, a balcony with table and chairs. Close to the tram station which takes about less than 15 minutes travel to train station. I even forgot to take the key with me while going out for a walk, after calling reception the kind lady patiently instruct me the way to get in. Would come back again.

  As Zurich is expensive, we were looking for 'value for (not too much) money'. That's what Anwand Lodge is. Nice, clean, quiet room with a bathroom (good shower) and a small fridge and a television. We met the cleaning guy twice, who was friendly. There's no other staff (you get your key from a safe at the front door and leave it there), which we d... vad folk säger » o not find a problem. E.g. get tourist information at main train station (15 min walk), breakfast at supermarket (Coop around the corner), great coffe - Excellent wifi, large room with even larger bathroom. Hairdryer, ironing board, small fridge, kettle but no cups which is a bit odd. Great place to stay. From outside train station main entrance take 31 bus, getting off at backeranlage stop. Walk back 100 yds to junction and go right. Keep walking until come to Anwandstrasse, go left on Anwandstrasse and walk to near bottom of street - hotel Chreiser. Sounds more complicated than it is! Also bus/ tram 8 is good option. Stop : Helvetiaplatz

  We were looking for a place to spend the night enroute to our travel destination. For the price to value ratio, this rooms was perfect. The self-check in instructions was very clear and we had no problems. The whole check in/out process was simple and efficient. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable for a good nights rest. Very happy with the accommodations. - Lovely room, great location - although it is slightly out of the city centre, very accessible via tram and lots of good restaurants nearby. Walking distance (~30 min) to the center but in quiet residential area with a good transport and shops in vicinity. Not cheap but a good value for the money for a city trip.

There is no front desk, simply a key box where you enter a code from the booking to get in. The ladies working in the restaurant are very friendly and up for a chat. Since they are directly connected to the hotel, they are the ones to ask questions since the hotel has no reception. Easy check-in and -out procedure.

  valuable price considering it is in Switzerland. It has a public kitchen in each floor (actually only 3 rooms per floor). Fortunately the other 2 room guests don't use the kitchen, so the kitchen turn to be ours. about 7-8 mins to walk to the bus station, not an easy work for the first trial to catch the bus to the city center, but much easier aft... vad folk säger » er that. good and comfortable bed and bath room. since the hotel only has two parking space, you need to get the hotel earlier, otherwise, you may nee - Our stay at Guesthouse Weststrasse was fine. We had no problems finding it nor checking in. The key code was emailed prior to arriving and it worked fine for accessing the key from the key box. It was in a good location, close enough to town to walk, we walked everywhere, it was easy. Its also close to the tram line too. Room again was fine, nothing flashy but it was clean.

The location, while not excellent, is very good - the bus/tram station is right in front of the hotel, with a tram ride to the center taking 7 minutes. I had no trouble getting there even late in the evening.
