Only a few steps from the lakeside promenade, the Youth Hostel Montreux can be found 400 metres south of the Montreux-Territet Train and Funicular Station. Free Wi-Fi and free public parking are available. The centre of Montreux can be reached in a 30-minute leisurely walk along the promenade. The female, male and mixed dormitory rooms each come with 4 or 6 bunk beds. Tasty food is served in the cafeteria on site. As a guest of the Youth Hostel Montreux, you are entitled to discounted admission fees at the Aquapark Le Bouveret.

We stayed here at the hostel on the night of 16th August. The Hostel is situation on the Lake Geneva itself in a very cost surrounding. It was a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The French lady at the reception was very nice, polite and helpful. We had booked for 3 beds in a dorm but the lady was kind enough to give us a 3-bed room at the same price. The breakfast was included in the price and it was quite a nourishing one. I would like to thank the lady and also her husband for the hospitalit.
alla recensioner » Location was perfect, a nice 5 mins leisurely walk away from a train/bus station, what more it comes with an unlimited bus travel card! The rooms- bed and linen- were very clean, I had a good sleep each night. Breakfast was good too. Location is very good and the food is delicious. All the rooms are very clean. The couple who ran the hostel were fantastic- kind and informative. Good location. Directly arrived by bus 201 from railway station. The location is good for sightseeing the lake and the Chateau. Friendly staff, price, location next to the lake. I liked the location of the hostel very much. friendly, great location and efficient. The location is good.And the room is clean and comfortable.We booked a 6-person room but got a 3-person room, it's pretty nice. It was worth, what you spent. Facilities were good. People were friendly and helpful. Price is relatively low. It is very close to the lake and Chillon castle. Large shower rooms.Comfy beds.Excellent location!. Good showers and toilets. Good location. Hardly anything to complain. Only one plug in the entire room to be shared with 5 others; hot drinking water is only available at specific time of the day. The reception was closed between 10 to 17 which is very inconvenient. Better to leave luggage in the station if u arrive too early !. Location is not that convenient to the town. The internet is available only in the lobby, Noisy rail next to the place. noisy, train line next to window. On a hot summer night could not open the window. It is much too hot in the room. There was no lift to carry suitcases. However, they provided locker FREE of cost to keep your suitcases on the ground floor. A little far from the train station. The breakfast is awful. No use of kitchen during daytime...And the noisy trains till midnight. No elevator close to the railway. No microwave. The only hostel in montreux which location is far which do need bus (run every 15 mins) ride from the city center. Walking is not possible with luggage. Noon is closed until checkin time at 5pm which is weird and the staff was not so friendly. No helpful information was provided and breakfast is not good compare to others youth hostel that I have stay. Additional fee charge for non-member and ended up the price is high, rather stay in hotel near city center.
