The hotel is surrounded by many bars and restaurants, very close to the
lake, away from the train station about 20 minutes walking, the staffs
are very friendly and helpful, they assisted us in arranging the city
tours, and also bed sheets were clean as well as the bathroom. The
breakfast was good and restaurant offer a good meal during evening such
as fajitas and Burger, if I visit Zurich again California Hotel will be
my choice definitely.

Excellent hotel, very friendly staff, nicely located. Amazing is the sound isolation, the hotel is located in the heart of the city with trams running next to it, still if you close the windows, nothing will disturb you. -

The location of the hotel is excellent! The rooms may be small, but they
have everything you need. Even though you share a bathroom, everything
is kept very clean.
The fresh bread at breakfast was delicious. I also enjoyed the very good cup of coffee each morning.

Room very beautiful. I was surprised by the elegance and the cleanliness, not to mention the superb peculiarity of each room. A different style was chosen for each room according for the country assigned at every place. Say, Japan will have a more Japan style furniture. Excellent position

This appartment is about as complete as you'll get - except for a decent cutting knife, perhaps. The kitchen has a fantastic stove and even a dish washer, which is ideal if you intend to stay for a few days. Our room also had an excellent table which can be used for eating or working.

Excellent wifi, large room with even larger bathroom. Hairdryer, ironing board, small fridge, kettle but no cups which is a bit odd. Great place to stay.
From outside train station main entrance take 31 bus, getting off at backeranlage stop. Walk back 100 yds to junction and go right. Keep walking until come to Anwandstrasse, go left on Anwandstrasse and walk to near bottom of street - hotel Chreiser. Sounds more complicated than it is! Also bus/ tram 8 is good option. Stop : Helvetiaplatz

What i loved was the amazing breakfast which awaited me in the morning.
I also liked the fact that our host sat down with us to open up and explain us things about the city.
Finally, i LOVED the neighborhood, as its one of the only ones in zurich which i think still has character and at the same time is affordable. Good for travellers with a smaller budget who want to be in a vibrant neighborhood with bars, restaurants, and nice old school architecture
