  The staff was extremely courteous and friendly. They were very responsive to our needs and much to our delight we were upgraded from the Guesthouse to the Hotel which had better facilities. Moreover, we were given the rooms much earlier than the check in time. The hotel is very conveniently located in Central Zurich surrounded by the old charm of the city. We wouldn't have asked - - The location was fantastic - you can easily walk there from the main train station. Then the tourist sights are within walking distance also. - The room was an adequate size - there was enough room for luggage and to walk around. - The room was clean. - There was a lift so you didn't have to carry your luggage up stairs. - The staff were professional.

  Läget var utmärkt - fem minuter från Bahnhofstrasse. Vi hade tur och fick ett mycket rymligt rum i annexet. Bra service när vi anlände tidigt och fick lagra väskor etc innan vi gick ut på stan. Nyrenoverat. fanns ett fräsch stryk rum som kom väl till pass när vi skulle pressa smokingen. Går att få lyxigare hotell för samma... vad folk säger » pris i Zurich knappast med samma centrala läge. - Rena, stilrena rum, hjälpsam och informativ personal. Bra läge i förhållande till tågstationen och centrum av staden. Bra extra service i form av att hotellet kan ordna buss till flygplatsen för rimligt pris.

  The staff very kindly ungraded us to a unit at EMA House, Nordstrasse 1 (hence the ratings do not apply to that at Unterstrass though it is next door). Besides, they were always most helpful and attentive to any queries and requests. Both hotels are 2 tram stops away from the main train station. Families with children might enjoy the park acces... vad folk säger » sible via a flight of steps west of the hotel. We enjoyed quiet strolls in the park which has a children's playground. - I got an upgrade to larger apartment for free. The rooms were very well furnished, equipped with modern technique WiFi is everywhere, kitchen has lots of plates, jars, microwave and dishwasher. Keep it up!

  We liked the location, that they have carpark (even if it costs a little extra), there was wi-fi (and it worked the whole time). A suite is always nicer when more than two people and this time, even better as we got upgraded to an even more spacious suite. The room is huge, comfortable, very well-structured. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Served in room at my convenience, was very reforced and quality products. The staff is perfect, everybody was so gentle and caring during my stay. Totally recommend and certainly would stay here again.

  Our stay at G Hotel Goldenes was great. We originally booked only one night, however when we arrived in our bedroom, we decided to cancel our next hotel to stay in G Hotel Goldenes.   I particularly liked the fact that there was a Nespresso coffee machine in my room which made excellent coffee. Being an early riser it was a pleasure to be able to have real coffee first thing in the morning. Also fantastic location. - the hotel is very comfortable in a central location wlth all the facilities needed.

  We are a mature couple who stayed at the Hotel Hirschen for three nights in early October 2013. We took the train from Bern to Zurich. Zurich station, like Bern and Luzern, is quite nice with street level platforms (or escalators), a Tourist Information Office, and lots of underground shopping. We asked for a room off the square because Niederdorfstrasse can be noisy -- lots of res - The situation of the hotel, it was right in the old town and the variety of restaurants outstanding. Because it was in busy area due to shops and restaurants thought it was going to be noisy at night but that wasn't the case. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast choice very good. Easy walking distance to main station and the Zurich Lake. Ferries also very accessible. Very enjoyable stay.
