  The welcome was perfect, we arrived by car and parked as close to the hotel as possible - after checking in at reception I was escorted to the underground parking garage and took my car down in a lift to the secure parking area. We stayed in a good sized executive room which had free WiFi and had been recently refurbished, and there was a massive ... vad folk säger » king sized bed that was very comfortable and a fridge and a nice flat screen tv with lots of channels. We asked for extra pillows and got them immedia - The rooms in the Alexander had been done to a very good standard for a small hotel. The breakfast room was small but very clean, the food was lovely with lots of selection and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent for a the major sites of the city and was right in the heart of a lively area with numerous bars and restaurants to choose from. It was also only a ten minute walk from the station and transportation links. Overall i would definitely recommend this hote

  The staff was very friendly and nice, even though there was a small mix up regarding whether we were staying in Lucerne or Zurich. When we arrived, they came quickly to meet us at the apartment. The person who let us into the apartment carried our luggage up three flights and spent time giving us information about the trains, etc. The apartment is... vad folk säger » in a great location, and it gives you the feel of really living in Zurich. I would recommend getting a Sim Card for your i-phone when you arrive, so - This was a great apartment for a visit to Zurich with friends. The location is perfect. The apartment is a very short walk away to main train station and the Bahnhofstrasse, and is located in the middle of the Niederdorf area. Tons of bars and restaurants nearby. The apartment was very clean (I would expect nothing less in Switzerland!) and the staff was on time in meeting us to give us the key. There is no front desk and no on-site parking, but the staff is accessible via phone and there

  The apartment is really central - walking distance from Bahnhof train station, a five minute tram ride from the zoo, two minutes walk from the river, five minutes walk from the lake, surrounded by lovely street cafés.   The staff was extremely courteous and friendly. They were very responsive to our needs and much to our delight we were upgraded from the Guesthouse to the Hotel which had better facilities. Moreover, we were given the rooms much earlier than the check in time. The hotel is very conveniently located in Central Zurich surrounded by the old charm of the city. We wouldn't have asked - - The location was fantastic - you can easily walk there from the main train station. Then the tourist sights are within walking distance also. - The room was an adequate size - there was enough room for luggage and to walk around. - The room was clean. - There was a lift so you didn't have to carry your luggage up stairs. - The staff were professional.

  Ambience, cleaniness, friendliness of staff - Its location was excellent and although garage parking was available at a cost the staff assisted by moving our car into free street parking and we had no hassles at all.

  We are a mature couple who stayed at the Hotel Hirschen for three nights in early October 2013. We took the train from Bern to Zurich. Zurich station, like Bern and Luzern, is quite nice with street level platforms (or escalators), a Tourist Information Office, and lots of underground shopping. We asked for a room off the square because Niederdorfstrasse can be noisy -- lots of res - The situation of the hotel, it was right in the old town and the variety of restaurants outstanding. Because it was in busy area due to shops and restaurants thought it was going to be noisy at night but that wasn't the case. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast choice very good. Easy walking distance to main station and the Zurich Lake. Ferries also very accessible. Very enjoyable stay.

  Läget var utmärkt - fem minuter från Bahnhofstrasse. Vi hade tur och fick ett mycket rymligt rum i annexet. Bra service när vi anlände tidigt och fick lagra väskor etc innan vi gick ut på stan. Nyrenoverat. fanns ett fräsch stryk rum som kom väl till pass när vi skulle pressa smokingen. Går att få lyxigare hotell för samma... vad folk säger » pris i Zurich knappast med samma centrala läge. - Rena, stilrena rum, hjälpsam och informativ personal. Bra läge i förhållande till tågstationen och centrum av staden. Bra extra service i form av att hotellet kan ordna buss till flygplatsen för rimligt pris.
