  Beautiful position, with a beautiful view (although non immediately visible). Feels like being in Paris, in the 1920s... The staff is very experienced and friendly; I had to postpone my arrival up to 14 hours and didn't have the chance to send an email to warn the staff; when I arrived I found a note with my keys and bed linen and towel waiting f... vad folk säger » or me... Excellent treatment! :) - Private twin room was spacious and clean. The bathroom facilities are modern and spotless. The location cannot be beaten in Charming Gamla Stan. I spent a lot of time deciding on which Gamla Stan hostel to choose - look no further!

  Fantastic location! Next door to Royal Palace, plus Gamla Stan is sightseeing object itself, so you can easily kill a day or half-a-day just wandering there. It is a budget accommodation of course, but it perfectly satisfies your basic needs - rooms are clean and comfortable, showers are decent, well equipped kitchens and nice light breakfast. Guests of all types make a really fun mixture, hostel is busy but not too noisy. - The atmosphere was really calm and friendly, informal yet absolutely non-intruding, creating instant "at-home" feeling. I had a single room with an openable window facing a narrow old town street and one of the walls revealing historic building bricks. Cozy and simple. While you do 'share a room' and the bathrooms with others, there's a huge room divided into smaller bedrooms for individual travelers, with glass walls and curtains and a special key code to get into your individual room. I guess I'd call it sort of a hotel/hostel hybrid. It's a neat place to stay, and in my opinion wort - This place felt so much like home from the very first moment I arrive with my sister. It was very clean and for the money you spend you do not expect that. Location is great. I did not need to take any means of transport since many attractions(Royal Palace, Diugarden, Fotografiska museum) are in walking distance of maximum 30'.   I was so impressed by every single services in this hotel. Even though I often stay in five-star hotels in Scandinavia, there are not worth pay for the price compare to this hotel. The price is rather high - The hotel's location is perfect in the middle of everything with a fantastic view on the Royal Palace. Tip: Instead of the buffet breakfast (and if you don't have the breakfast included in your package) eat a la carte in the bar with the view on the Palace - breath-taking!
