We were celebrating a 60th birthday, so wished to have a hotel near the centre, which was comfortable and if required use of the restaurant.
We found the hotel to exceed our expectations for location, near to the ferry station or a short walk along the coastline to the City centre. Our rooms were very modern in design, clean and in the room I stay

Being at the coutryside in the center of Stockholm was amazing.
You have to walk to arrive to the Palace? You don't go down a 20 floor hotel and are immediatly surrounded by shops?
Who cares? You are 10 minutes away from all that, if you enjoy walking.
If you like to ride a bike, you have your "private" garage next to the hotel, with 20 bikes ready to be rented; just buy the City Bikes card at the reception.
Breakfast was plentyful and the restaurant serves very tasty dishes.

Great location with a superb view over one of the cities emblematic features (Gamla Stan). All the other main points of interest are within seconds distance.

Fantastic location! Next door to Royal Palace, plus Gamla Stan is sightseeing object itself, so you can easily kill a day or half-a-day just wandering there. It is a budget accommodation of course, but it perfectly satisfies your basic needs - rooms are clean and comfortable, showers are decent, well equipped kitchens and nice light breakfast. Poo

The atmosphere was really calm and friendly, informal yet absolutely non-intruding, creating instant "at-home" feeling.
I had a single room with an openable window facing a narrow old town street and one of the walls revealing historic building bricks. Cozy and simple.
I would definitely wish to stay in this hostel again when visiting Stockholm next time!

The hotel's location is perfect in the middle of everything with a fantastic view on the Royal Palace. The staff is very friendly - beyond even what one would expect in a hotel of that class. Tip: Instead of the buffet breakfast (and if you don't have the breakfast included in your package) eat a la carte in the bar with the view on the Palace - breath-taking!

Old-fashioned hotel in a good meaning of such term.Well preserved atmosphere of peaceful old times gone by. The stay was comfortable, especially as I got bigger room than ortiginally booked. Perfect location. And for a "reasonable" price (for Stocholm, where hotel prices are generally astronomical).

This place felt so much like home from the very first moment I arrive with my sister. It was very clean and for the money you spend you do not expect that. Location is great. I did not need to take any means of transport since many attractions(Royal Palace, Diugarden, Fotografiska museum) are in walking distance of maximum 30'.
