  Clean and inexpensive lodging near city center - Nice location, it is within walking distance to almost all the tourist spots. The hostel is really quite clean with good designs, which consider a lot the needs of different customers. The staffs are nice as well. Whenever I have questions, they answer very well. Regarding their kitchen, this is the... vad folk säger » only hostel, I've ever lived in, that provides almost all kinds of necessary cooking tools. They do think hard from the customers' perspective. I would recommend staying in this hostel. - The place doesnt look very fancy but it is a great place to stay, great kitchen, enough showers/toilets, the room is spacious, the staff very friendly the location couldnt get any better you are right where you wanna be, im sure is the best hostel in stockholm, will go back there for sure, very good place, internet is bad but who goes to stockholm to spend time on facebook anyway.

  I liked the perfect location in the heart of Stockholm. Because some areas are shared a connection, even if brief happens easily, with other guests which is quite nice. Generosity: free coffee, tea and pasta (you cook it yourself). Computer for Internet and cityguidance. You have a fully equipped kitchen you can use. Nobel Museum and Storakyrkan are both across the street. I spent my first four nights in Stockholm in Sodermalm, paying more for a bed in a four-bed room than I did for a bed in a nine-bed room in Gamla Stan.

  Great location and being a hostel wonderful diverse group of different people and nationalities that were staying there. The evening talking to everyone was brilliant - Staff very helpful; even placed clothes in washer & dryer for us. Very convenient location.

  Friendly staff!! Good vallue for money, the kitchen is very usefull (can prepare your own meals, free coffee and tea) and its in the middle of stockholm centre (gamla stan) very quiet. Also this was our second booking at 2kroner because we enjoyed the hostel so much - The personel was the best thing going for this hostel.   Great location with a superb view over one of the cities emblematic features (Gamla Stan). All the other main points of interest are within seconds distance. The accomodation is 5 star.   This hostel is great value for money for Stockholm and quite comfortable. Our end was a like a nice hotel, with the use of hostel facilities (ie cheap washing machine, kitchen, kids toys, guidebooks, info). The room was equipped almost like a hotel ie with hairdryer, phone. It was quite a large place with many groups of teenagers staying there. Buffet breakfast was available for a charge and had a - Walking distance to city centre/train station but there is a tube station close by as well as bus stops. Easy to find. Close to shops and restaurants. Quiet area, near park. Sufficient breakfast option. Room/bathroom (en suite) size is more than adequate and bed comfortable. Room looked new. Being there in the winter, the room was nice and warm. Many TV channels including programmes in English. Can even buy stamps at the hotel.

  It was a nice experience staying in a Hotel which was previously a prison. We liked the atmosphere and the design. It was really clean. We enjoyed the breakfast there.   I appreciated verything ! I didn't try the shared bathroom but only the toilets since I slept my two first nights (3 nights in total) in a double-bed room, but absolutely everything was wonderful : - comfortable quite big beds with strong woody frames (no noise) - easy key system with card or magnetic "plastic coin" - big case for valuable belongi... vad folk säger » ngs in the "multiple beds bedroom" - everything was modern : bathrooms, doors, furniture, kitchen, ... - big kitchen with lots of utensils for cookin - The kitchen is a very nice addition to the stay at Skanstulls. Since food is so expensive in Stockholm, the kitchen gives a nice break to buy food and cook it. There are 2 grocery stores across the street too, In the hostel is a lot of tourist info which was really nice. I had a late check in that I forgot to mention and I almost wasn't able to get into the hostel. I caught the staff member at the last minute as she was leaving and she was so kind about my mistake. She was a very helpful girl
