This is a fantastic place to stay. I agree with a previous review, it
is more like a quality bed & breakfast as it is a large house that
has been exceptionally well restored but retaining lots of the
original features and character. The lady that met us at the reception
was very helpful and the whole hotel was immacuatly clean. Excellent

Such a beautiful place to stay... the hotel and rooms where stunning. the couple running the hotel were really friendly and helpful. really comfortable beds, an amazing bathroom and just like staying in a grand property. A bit hard to find as there arent many street signs, which is not the fault of the hotel, but make sure you print a good map and directions first!

Beautiful location, three kilometers from the town, out on the headland beside the old lighthouse.
I was the only guest in the hotel the night I stayed, but the staff were very welcoming and friendly. One of them had to stay the night because i was there.

Everything. This hotel is wonderfull. The location is perfect, at the apex of the waterfront, the grand avenues and the old city. A beautiful old building completely refurbished, and rooms were well appointed. The owners are very professional and very personable, and attentive to small details. I recomended this hotel to anyone. A 4 star hotel at 3 star prices.

Clean, quiet, lovely decor in the bedroom and bathroom, buffet breakfast was very good (so many choices of bread & beverage!), owner Fanny was very friendly and nice (she gave tips on the Camino Frances, and she even went out of her way to pick me up at the bus station when I arrived at 3pm and weather was too hot for walking). Fanny and Javi made the whole stay a wonderful experience. Their Hostal is aims day pilgrims doing the camino and they have everything arranged for a relaxing stay after a lot of walking. Soft towels, a kitchen, comfortable beds and a lovely outdoor area.

The continental breakfast was good as was the receptionist 'Fernando', he was a star, the rooms a good size and free internet and wifi - The view was excellent, the staff VERY helpful and friendly (particularly Fernando, and Sara as well), close to the ferry, bus station, and beach. Everything!!! The staff was more than excellent! The building is amazing! It´s an old stone house immaculately reconditioned and extremely well decorated. The rooms are big and cosy! it has an incredible restaurant and tapas bar with the best food ever! it also has a very beautifull outdoor-garden area for relaxing where you can enjoy some drinks.
