  The pensione is central, quiet, clean and comfortable. The air con was a pleasant respite from 39 degree temp outside for a mid afternoon siesta. The hosts were friendly and pleasant although we were new to Spain and they had little English we didn't converse much. Entry was by ringing the doorbell which was good for security but made us feel awkw... vad folk säger » ard when we thought they might be resting. - We stayed 1 night in Pension el Portillo and the room was perfect for that time. It is a rather small family-run business in a very good location (around 5 mins walk from La Mosquita and Alcazar), clean and comfortable, with a lovely owner. I would not choose it for longer stay (3-4 days) but it was perfect for 1 night.

  Inside the old town walls, the decor was beautiful and kitchen adequate to prepare breakfast and lunch if you really need to. It is surrounded by lovely tapas, cafe bars and resturants.   Good value for the price, clean, reasonable space in room, en suite bathroom, cable tv, a/c, maps available to locate tourist area, helpful staff, close to mini-mart for fresh fruit and snacks. - Very clean and quiet. Two supermarkets nearby. It is in walking distance (1/2 an hour) to main atractions in historic center (Pedro Omer-IL).

  Room was very clean and the staff was very attentive. Most staff members spoke some english or made every effort to find the answer. - We were right on the beach with a great view. There is plenty to do at night time with many bars and restaurants right along the beafch front.

  Very good localization. The hostel is situated in the old town, close to main tourists attractions and also closed to one of the main streets of the city. For this money you can not get it better. Nice young staff, helpful, although not everybody speak English well. No need to buy water, cola etc. outside - you can get all this in the hostel in go... vad folk säger » od prices. Comfortable beds. Air condition - but not in every room. The hostel looks very pretty inside. - Nice staff. Great location in the border of the Old City quarter, less than 10 minutes from Catedral and 15 from the Alameda (good place for going out at night). The place is absolutely quiet, far away from crowded streets and noise.

  The hotel provided a shuttle to downtown Seville and picked us up. This was a great help due to the traffic and lack of parking in Seville. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was good. - the staff are so friendly. The free shuttle bus is so convenient to the town centre.
