The design and facilities of the hotel are excellent. The pool and patio are lovely and the spa area is modern and clean. It's in a lovely area but be aware that it's a 40 minute walk to the beach. -
We booked a junior suite, the room was very spacious and had everything
we needed; Mini bar, tv/dvd, Jaccuzi, comfy chairs, four poster bed.

After travel traveling extensively in Spain for the last month and a half, this was the best all round accommodation we've stayed in. The family who own and run it went out of their way to make it a very pleasurable stay. -

Traditional Spanish hotel in the heart of the countryside, near very interesting whitewashed town. Fabulous lake views, wonderful dining experience watching the sun set over the lake as we ate al fresco. Had one of the best steaks we have ever eaten in the restaurant. Staff very accomodating, great reception. Decent coffee at breakfast. -

Spotlessly clean, efficient service by the girl on reception who spoke good English. We ordered a 4 single bed room but 2 of the beds were up a narrow wooden ladder to an unprotected mezzanine area - an accident waiting to happen. Reception gave us a second room for same price as hotel was very quiet. Breakfast was continental and adequate for €5

We had a wonderful stay. The manager was so kind and attentive to our needs. He upgraded us to a triple room to accommodate our 3 years old child
as it was on the ground floor and he did not even charge us for his breakfast.
The staff were always smiling and helpful. The place was spotless which is not so easy in a town where the streets are of sand with no pavement what so ever. It was fantastic!

We had a wonderful stay at La Ciudad. The dobleroom they got us was in fact a flat, big livingroom/kitchen, and a nice bedroom. The kitchen had all the equipment needed to make your own meals. The pool was bigger than expectet, big enough to have a lot of fun. The owner suprisingly picked us up from the bus station, and drow us to the hotel! Overa

Perfect location in a stylish period house across the bridge in the old town, just moments from the main square and church. Our spacious "suite" had a small sitting room with kitchenette, although breakfast was included at a typical Andalucian cafe near the bullring. Fabulous!
