  I stayed here in 1977 and again in May 2013 and was surprised at how little has changed. It has been enlarged, but the welcome and atmosphere are still the same. The hotel sits on a hill above the town and is only a short walk down to the centre of town but a steep walk back up. The location is perfect for a stopover near to the motorway. We grazed on tapas rather than having a main meal and they were rea - The hotel was clean quiet & comfortable; and very good value, with free parking. It is only a pleasant 15 minute walk to the historic part of town.

  Hotel Ciudad de Plasencia is a clean, functional hotel. It is ideally located in central Spain, just off the highway, for those travellers driving between the Northern ports and the South.
