The hostal was basic but excellent value for money. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the location was superb just off the Grand Via and within walking distance of all city attractions. In fact we cancelled another booking for later on in the holiday so that we could stay here again.This is a bed for the night, not a place to hang out in,

The staff were friendly and did everything to make our stay as pleasant as possible, and for the quality of the room, the price was absolutely excellent. The room had free wifi and air conditioning, which ensured we had a comfortable stay. The location was fantastic, right in the shopping area of Madrid.

The room was very clean and smelled very nice, you could see that it was just been cleaned. Very strong wi-fi signal in our room, even downloaded a film in 30 min :)

located in front of Spanish Ministry of Internal Affairs. Good location, 10min walking distance to the first historical square where you normally start a walking tour of Madrid. Was very quiet, no people, very good breakfast 12E a person which is super good for the center. If you go out you spend twice as much for breakfast. Room is small and cosy and they don't charge for children if they stay with you on the bed. Has little kitchen, can cook a bit. Overall good impression, hotel is either new

This place is truly Home away from Home. The lady who runs the place is so nice, very friendly and keeps the place immaculate. The rooms with shower are nice and spacious with moder decor and the single room without shower where I was staying is very comfortable with fridge and microwave. The location was right down in the city and close to many sights. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the building was of the old architecture, which was charming. Superb location in beautiful side-street within easy walking distance of all the major sights. It was lovely to feel that we were in the heart of Madrid. The staff were very helpful and friendly and gave us a warm welcome even though we arrived very late after a delayed flight. Room very comfortable. There was some noise on Friday and Saturday nights from people in the street but no traffic noise.

Nice staff. Hotel in a residential neighborhood near the Madrid airport
so not many tourist attractions but gave you a feel for non tourist city
life. Metro stop Barajas near by but the streets aren't marked well
so it was a bit tough to find by walking from the Metro. Good value
though we did get a discounted rate on letsbookhotel.com. -

Town center has several good café/restaurants and small stores. One block walk to hotel from bus stop. Surprising quite for so near airport. Simple, 5 euro, self serve breakfast was quick and easy.
