  The hostal Radio is cheap, simple and is situated in a great locacion, 15 minutes walk from Plaza Espana and 10 minutes walk from Plaza Catalunya, La Rambla. There is a bus stop very close and the metro Universitat and metro Sant Antoni very close too. Staff very helpfull and kind.They helped us a lot with everything that we asked. The neighborhood ,although it may seems a bit unsafe ,actually is very lively , a blend of different peoples ,different bars and shops and if you have time to explore it you may find it interesting.If you are looking for a very basic place, this hostel is a good value for money.

  The hotel is very basic but excellent value for money and reception is staffed 24 hrs a day. The staff were great - friendly and helpful. The room was clean and everything worked well.   It is so close to La Rambla and the tourist bus route. The staff were extremely helpful. There was a good choice of food at breakfast. The room was very comfortable. I shared a quadruple room with friends, and there was more than enough room. - Location was fantastic - it couldnt have been in a better position for our stay.
