För den som vill bo centralt i Madrid till en billig penning är Hostal Puerta del Sol ett utmärkt alternativ. Här finns ingen lyx, rent och snyggt. Men framför allt vill jag lyfta fram läget, som ger det promenad avstånd till det mesta av intresse i staden. Glöm inte att utnyttja tunnelbanan till och från flygplatsen, endast en euro. - The ambiance

Furthermore, the breakfast was included and you have free internet access. - Great staff, great location, and the place was eternernally spotless! I stayed in a 4 star hotel the night before and couldn't even get a cup of tea in the room - these guys had breakfast bar open all hours. They deserve to do well.

First of all, we have to say that the staff was unbelievable!! All of them were extremely friendly and extremely helpful as we had lots of questions and requests.
The room was exactly what we needed…no complaints.

Hotel staff spoke very good English, and they were very pleasant. It
was very quiet inside all the hallways and doors, so I knew I would be
able to sleep well. Safe. We had a key to get into the building later
in the evening. The evening staff worked very hard to print out a
ticket for us. He was very kind to do so. Polite, honest, hard working.
The mini frig was a wonderful item, as was the hairdryer. I would
gladly recommend the Hostal, especially if you want to be in the center
of Madrid.

Great location, just two blocks away from "Puerta del sol" and
"Plaza mayor". Clean rooms and bathroom at a great price.
Public parking is just 1/2 a block away. It's a great base
location to walk around Madrid. Senora Remedios and Mr Vicente are the
very friendly couple that runs the place. I recommend it hands down. -

Excellent location, very close to Noviciado subway station. I found the apartment very clean and well equipped. Air conditioning and wifi worked perfectly and the staff was so kind, they provided me everything I needed. I loved my stay here and on my next trip to Madrid I will rent here once again, for sure. -
