  Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating! Furnace doesn't work in the summertime, but it was still too cold for me (50 degrees) and they went out of their way and located a personal space heater for my room. - The room was ensuite and clean and the towels and bedding were changed regularly.   Checking in was admirably attentive. They welcome you with breakfast and the warmest smile I've ever seen from a host. So incredibly polite and obliging. Getting the keys of my room was like getting the keys of the city. Wonderful experience. Location perfect. Bus and trains are very close for those with early return travel or connections.   Having read lots of other reviews which said that it's not very private and the walls are made of paper, we weren't sure about staying there but in the end we were the only people in the hostel and it wasn't a problem.   I really appreciated the warmth of the welcome, the owner had learnt English later in life - again appreciated his efforts. He gave good recommnedations on where to go to eat and drink. The rooms were small but spotlessly clean and very warm. Breakfast consisted of copious amounts of fresh bread and butter, ham, cheese, honey, toast and a fried eg... vad folk säger » g, packet croissants and madeleine cakes, and a large pot of fresh coffee with an even larger jug of warm milk. Set me up for the day! - I felt most welcome and every effort was made to ensure my comfort. I appreciated the efforts made by the staff on reception to make sure I had any information I might need. Maps and advice on places of interest and restaurants etc was offered on arrival. The breakfast provided was excellent and was served in a friendly and attentive manner. All staff including the staff cleaning the rooms were friendly and greeted one with a smile.

  Just perfect! Great location you are just outside the tourist zone and yet very close to everything. We even had a balcony on the 4th floor with view over the place galicia towards the cathedral. Just plain perfect for a more then decent price. - A great location, overlooking the cathedral.
