  Location was perfect for central Madrid. Many attractions within walking distance. Didn't get all the noise form the busy streets. Easy access to metros.   Really nice hotel. Location is exactly what is mentioned in all other reviews. The girls from reception - Maria and Elena -were very hospitable and friendly and both deserve a certain salary increase. Rooms are not much specious but always clean and tidy. The hotel itself is renewed build recently and you can see it at once.   It was perfect stay. Apartment is centrally located (easy to reach historic centre and all 3 museums), it is very spacious and well-furnitured with intersting design. Staff was friendly - they called us in the morning on the arrival day and met at the apartment building. Highly recommended! - We loved the apartment: it is charming, spacious, roma... vad folk säger » ntic and had everything we needed including a washing machine, good linens and three windows (along two walls...it is a corner unit). It was a pleasure to stay there. Note that it is necessary to walk up 4 flights of stairs
