Breakfast was till 11am (super late compared to other places) and was simple but fresh and delicious. The room was more than we had hoped for. We asked for a room with a balcony and thats exactly what we got. Great location and just a really nice place to come to at the end of a long day sightseeing.

  The guy who handed us the keys was really nice and helpful. The apartment is tiny but for the price we payed is enough.   First of all, we have to say that the staff was unbelievable!! All of them were extremely friendly and extremely helpful as we had lots of questions and requests. The room was exactly what we needed…no complaints. We stayed for 2 nights and you cannot beat the price. It was very quiet inside all the hallways and doors, so I knew I would be able to sleep well. Safe. We had a key to get into the building later in the evening. The evening staff worked very hard to print out a ticket for us. He was very kind to do so. Polite, honest, hard working. The mini frig was a wonderful item, as was the hairdryer. I would gladly recommend the Hostal, especially if you want to be in the center of Madrid.

  The boss is very nice. If you can meet him, you can get help, but it's not always there at receiption. The location is very good, but it's not easy to find it. - Excellent location,nearest metro station is just a stone's throw away, full of restaurants in the neighborhood, walking distance to major places of interest.
