  The people who work there are very kind special sympaty to Soledad. They permited to us left our luggage before check in and after check out. They have already a toilet for the guests. I cannot praise them highly en - Up to the moment I entered the hostal I didn't have great expectations. Once inside the room I felt very spanish and ready to conquer the world. Extremely cosy, warm, very clean and friendly, well located, close to Gran Via and therefore close to everything in Madrid the hostal offered us the best opportunity in Madrid for feeling excellent. For people willing to go to Madrid I would kindly suggest to have a very pleasant stay at hostal America.

  We are a family with 2 small kids. We got the appartment A on the first floor. The appartment had everything we needed, and for the price we paid it was perfect. Also the location is very good, very central. You can authorise the company that administers the Appartments to get the money from your credit card, this way you don´t need to go to their... vad folk säger » office first, you just get a code with some instructions and can pick up the keys at any time. - The location is perfect, very close to city center.   1. LOCATION is excellent, very close to Metro station (Gran Via) & many city landmarks (Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, can be reached by walk). The single room with shower is really nice and cosy, with air condition, sink, good mirrow, a kettle to boil water for tea etc. Also the bed was comfortable. It was my second time I stayed here and I was perfectly happy with everything.

  I liked how the room that I got was exactly what was shown in the pictures on the web site. I also liked that the staff speak good English and that they are very helpful. Also, it is centrally-located and just a few minutes' walk from Callao Metro station. Location is perfect, 5 minutes to Sol station or Gran Via! Staff are sooo nice and helpful, giving me a lot of advice and help me resolve the problem of travel adapter! And also need to mention, the design and decoration of the room, surprised and considerate and sweet! With the price and location, I do think this Hostal deserves highly recommended.

  Centrally located and very quiet. Great to recover from jet lag after a long trip from Australia. Located a short walk from the metro station, so caught metro from airport. Could walk to all major sights from there. Nice and clean place. The staff was friendly. The rooms although small are comfortable and clean. The beds were set every day, and clean towels were provided if necessary. I highly recommend this hostel since is the best vale for money!
