Just perfect for a stay in Madrid for some night close to everything. A bit small room, but always very clean and newly restaurated. Very silent, as long as the window is closed. Noisy city outside! Shower with instant hot water. Fridge that works perfect. Good elevator.

Victoria is just steps away from sol in Madrid; it's a perfect
location for restaurants and shops (and Metro) and wanting to be where
it's all happening. The price is good--actually it's excellent--
considering the location. The room (we were in room 8 just down the hall
from check-in) was very quiet. And given how the building seems old and
dark, the room was amazingly clean.

The location is brilliant. Rooms are clean, and good value for money. I can recommend this hostal to anyone who would like to explore the city because everything are close in the vacinity. The bathroom and room are tiny,but for the five nights we stayed, it was sufficient. Fridge, hair dryer, clean linen and towels plus amenities everyday.

Excellent Value for the money. Huge suite with every comfort you need: Kitchen with Lavazza Coffee machine, living room with large flat TV, huge bath with bathtub, huge comfy bed with an array of pillows. Good location (on foot 7min from the Via Grande, 10 min from El Prado and 3 min from the Bus Station 'Bus Express' to the airport. Would definitly go back. Nespresso Machine in the breakfast room. Fingerprint reader to enter the appartment: no badge you could loose or misplace. Free WiFi!

Very reasonably priced for a city hotel. Our room was spacious, the bathroom was also a good size and the bed was large and very comfortable. Best of all the room was quiet so it was possible to get a good nights sleep even in the middle of a noisy city. The hotel is easy to find just a short walk from Plaza Cibeles where the airport bus stops. All the main attractions and shops are within easy walking distance. För den som vill bo centralt i Madrid till en billig penning är Hostal Puerta del Sol ett utmärkt alternativ. Här finns ingen lyx, rent och snyggt. Men framför allt vill jag lyfta fram läget, som ger det promenad avstånd till det mesta av intresse i staden. Glöm inte att utnyttja tunnelbanan till och från flygplatsen, endast en euro. - The ambiance
