  my first time in madrid and i had a good experience. hotel was new, the recepcionist guy was very very kind and it was very cheap hotel. it was not in the center, but there is a metro station near the hotel, very useful - The location was convenient.   Probably the one hotel where the service from every single staff member from doorman to reception was excellent. Everyone smiles here! The decor is beautiful, the rooms luxurious and much bigger than what you would expect normally in a big city in Europe. Location was fantastic, for restaurants and shopping.
