  Quirky place with a beautiful location, high above Bilbao. we were treated very well from beginning to end of stay. watching the fog roll through the valley below us in the morning was magical. - Extremely tranquil setting.   The hotel is very convenient to the Bilbao bus station, which was great for taking the ALSA bus as a comfortable, inexpensive, and easy way to travel from Madrid to Bilbao. Also the nearby bus station is the terminus for an inexpensive bus to the airport. And it was a pleasant walk thru the park to the Guggenheim. My room had two beds, one tv, one desk with a mirror and one bathroom. Wifi works fine and the staff were really gentle to ask if I was ok with the noise (I think they're repairing some things on my floor), or if I'd like to change my room.

  Very helpful staff, lovely rooms, good food available in the bar and good location for the Guggenheim - we took a tram which stopped only 100 yds from the hotel. - You got what you expected from staying at a 4* and the hotel staff were very helpful.
