  I was pleasantly surprised ! Have had a few shocking online bookings before . The apartment was spacious and neat . Lovely view . Even had a turn down service in the evening , which was unexpected for a self catering apartment . Location is good , close to all the popular spots . Definately would stay here again :) - The hotel went out of their w... vad folk säger » ay to accommodate us as I let them know it was our honeymoon. They gave us a beautiful room and on the 2nd night there was champagne in the room. We also received water and chocolates each night which was a great touch!

  The hotel was situated perfectly for enjoying city life, the beach and in close proximity to the sporting event we had entered. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. We were given a goodie bag of fruit and snacks for the cycle event as a gift.   The backpack was a really comfortable and welcoming place to stay. The common areas were laid back & relaxed and the place was very clean. Location was great & just a short walk from the top of Long Street and some good restaurants. Waterfront was a decent walk or a fairly quick taxi ride. Compared to some friends who were staying at numerous backpackers in and around Long Street, this sounded superior & I would definitel - It was my second time at this hostel and I came back three years later because I liked it. Apart from it being excellent for what is officially a backpackers place I really appreciate the attitude of owners and staff who are supporting community projects and take recycling seriously, something that is still not very wide spread in South Africa. Excellent Sandwiches and breakfast.

  Very friendly owner who cooks a lovely breakfast (included in the price). Very comfortable, large double bed. Close to the bus route to the Waterfront (note: cash not accepted - travel card required) and local restaurants. - Everything worked, the place, the people, the comfort and convenience.
