  Great selection at breakfast and dining choices in general hard to beat. Doormen and hotel staff, including maids, in general we're exceptional. Location for best of Durban cannot be beat. Japanese restaurant was awesome, everything was delicious. - Brilliant breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, lovely room with all comforts included.   This was the first time we had ever seen the sea and it was the holiday of a lifetime. It was the only time we have ever stayed in a hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Gogo Brenda. We were given a fridge for our room without us even having to ask, because of the baby. I will never f - The hotel is very central and is quite lovely. It has everything that you need. The view is absolutely stunning. It is close to Ushaka and the Sun Coast Casino. If you do not want to use your car there are the "People Mover" buses that you can travel on. The room was pleasantly comfortable and quite spacious. The breakfast had a wonderful selection to choose from.

  Room exceptionally clean,staff very warm and helpful.Breakfast server with a smile by Your friendly chefs and staff. l would have rated excellent on facilities,but telephone was not working and had to go downstairs to order room service which was a nightmare. Food server was horrible,given wrong order drink,to top it all,it was delivered 1/30(one ... vad folk säger » and half) hout after l ordered,had to use ny cellphone to het it as it was very late and was tired of walking to and fro. That spoilt My whole stay as - The staff was very friendly and warm. We were treated very well. The location of the hotel was very central to most tourist attractions and there was a great vibe. The breakfast was very nice as well. The hotel was ideal for a family as the fridge, kettle with beverages and sink plus microwave was a bonus as it made it possible to save on costs by not having to eat out and enjoy meals in the hotel, appreciating the views in the dining area. The hotel gets a 10/10 from me and i really got value

  I stayed at the Tropicana in December 2010 and was not impressed at all. During my last stay I notced a remarkable improvement, i.e refurbishment, staff, etc. Well done! - The fact that it is on the beach front and our bus just dropped us at the door, that was awesome. Value for money as well.
