  The Yellowwood Lodge has beautiful gardens and nicely decorated rooms. It is in a quiet location and is a short walk to Knysna and Thesen Island. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning. All in all, everything was perfect! - Exceptionally kind and helpful owner/staff. Impressive authentic old English house.   The owners and there parents made our anniversary very pleasant. Breakfast were good value and the staff is helpful and friendly. The fireplace warm the house up nice at night.Was a GREAT STAY. - Best breakfats in the world and the staff is extremely friendly. they also helped us with brochures of places we could visit while there.

  Very warm welcome from Venessa; she was a good host interested in her guests and very helpful. Cook (I apolgise for forgoting her name) was lovely; new to the B&B kitchen her cooked breakfasts were great, not greasy, beautifully presented with fruit appetizer and a french press of coffee or tea. Accommodating me with my bikes and special breakfast requirements, good for you and well done, thank you and will recommend, special memories were made there!

  Very friendly owner who helped us getting around Knysna. Excellent breakfast, very spacious, nicely decorated and clean rooms with a nice view on the lagoon. Good value for money. - Awesome venue, hosts and just a place where I know I always get value for money. Will always return there when passing through Knysna or when visiting for a weekend.

  Our hosts, Mart & Pete,were exceptional people, At once entertaining, hospitable, warm, generous, above all extremely nice people. Breakfast was fabulous, served on the veranda with a outstanding view overlooking the town of Knysna and the bay. The B&B was situated within 5 mins of all local amenities. We spent one week here and would definitely return here at some point in the futu - The Guinea Fowl Lodge is on a hill, overviewing Knysna but still close –walking distance- to the city. When we arrived the host gave us a map and some helpful tips of what to do with the rest of the afternoon. The rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast is served on the beautiful terrace and everything you could possible want is there - fresh fruits, toast, cheese, jam & marmalade. We liked the accommodation and would definitely go again!

  What a quaint and pretty B&B. The 2 ladies who run this guesthouse were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The position of this B&B overlooking the lagoon is beautiful with many places to eat and drink just 10 minutes walk away. An excellent place to stay when travelling the garden route. The breakfast was superb and the view over the gardens and lagoon from the breakfast room was sublime. Joe was very hospitable and friendly whilst the 20 minute walk to the waterfront was pleasant and safe. A great base if you are planning to stay a while in Knysna with easy access and lots of off-street parking

  Great lodge on the Knysna Lagoon. Just outside Knysna village and surrounded by water and 'swamp-like' nature.
