  The guest rooms have the wow factor - thatched high ceilings, loads of space, outside shower as well as an indoor one, lounge space. Evening meals fine. The lodge is perfectly placed -just 5 minutes drive from the south gate. It's possible to go in at 0700, do a couple of the circuits, then return to the lodge for a late breakfast, before going ba... vad folk säger » ck into the park for the day. If you're going to Addo this place is ideal and the hosts Isabelle and Christoff are most obliging - Isabelle and Christophe were the most brilliant hosts and ran the hotel in a lovely relaxed manner. The room was wonderful and the outdoor shower enchanting. It was a brilliant place to stay for the Addo Elephant Park just 10 minutes drive from the gates. I would definitely stay there again. The food was very good, the room clean and very comfortable.

  Liz and Peter they run the place and they do this really well! We had a warm welcome at arrival. The place is so nicely located next to a river with stunning views into the wild. Only a 10mins drive to addo south's gate, the happy jackal is the perfect place to explore the area. Breakfast could not have been better with self made bread and jam!! awsome!! Liz provides u with all the sec - Liz, the owner, is delightful and warm and friendly and helpful! Her place is immaculate and beautifully decorated. Her cooking is great and her husband makes the best fresh bread. She is extremely knowledgeable about the area as well.

  What can i say.... this place was amazing, owners were lovely. Very knowledgable and you can tell they enjoy what they do. And they do it VERY WELL. Breakfast was amazing, fresh bread homemade jams, try the ginger&melon. Our room was fantastic, lovely themed room. Safari lodge. Tours can be booked onsite. Well worth doing.   What an amazing establishment, the owners Jeff & Sondra have put a lot of effort in to making this a top class place to stay. The continental breakfast is superb with fresh homemade breads, muffins & corissants. I can with confidence highly recommend Nukakamma Guest House.
