My trip to St Petersburg was quite short and unexpected, so it was extremely hard to find a good place to stay. I caught a booking in Flat and Hotel by accident (they had a cancellation). Apartment owner, Svetlana, was excellent with her emailing, cleaning and helping us find our way around St Petersburg, also her son, Paul, was very good when he greeted us when we arrived, showing us places to visit and how to get there. We felt quite safe and comfortable in the apartment, it was quiet and Svetlana was excellent.

Very friendly staff with good English. Super clean, separate showers and toilets which helps avoid queues. Comfy bunks in dorm room - didn't squeak and move around like most dorm bunks! Excellent location, practically next door to the Hermitage. Very pleased to see there is a lift as it's on 6th floor! -

An exellent hostel, friendly receptionists, totally designed according to the "Friends" movie. Towels, bed cloth are given, clean and fully equiped showers and wc. Washing mashine and iron place are for free. Common spacy cosy kitchen with frige, water, tea, diches and everything needed. We were empressed and happy when checked in to this hostel.

The hostel is nice and clean. It is very well located in the heart of the city. Personnel is attentive and ready to help. It's great that the number of shower rooms and WCs is enough to have no queues. Washing machine with detergent supplied is a bonus. The room (at least our room) was fine, enough space and simple but good beds.

A week's time lived like at home. After working and eyeful of the city to be able to recuperate tomorrow. Enjoyed the opportunity to cook a light supper as large hotels, the lack of such conditions. Very nice hotel staff: polite, pleasant, good-natured and friendly. -
